Thread: Insanity Workout: by Shaun T

I hear it's a lot like P90x but much more intense. I hear its more cardio focused and it doesn't have the variety of P90x (a friend of mine told me he was adapting to insanity a bit too easily).
You would mix it with P90x to get some better cross training or better calorie burning.

Then you might just complete the hardest workout program ever put on DVD. Your personal trainer Shaun T will push you past your limits with 10 workout discs packed with plyometric drills on top of nonstop intervals of strength, power, resistance, and ab and core training moves. No equipment or weights needed. Just the will to get the hardest body you've ever had.

The secret to these mind-blowing results: MAX Interval Training. Shaun T took traditional interval training and flipped it on its head—you perform long bursts of maximum-intensity exercises with short periods of rest. Each workout keeps you constantly challenged as you alternate between aerobic and anaerobic intervals performed at your MAX. The result: burn up to 1,000 calories in an hour and get the most insane body in 60 days."

Isn't it insane to spend $120.00 for a workout dvd? We can't do that by going to the gym or even cheaper exercising at home and going out for a good run? I wonder how many of these dvd's are brought and never used! I guess it's kind of like gym memberships; come January they're all at the gym dressed real nice because they got a gym membership for Christmas but they're gone by March at the lastest!

I do have a gym membership, but sometimes I get bored & try other things (lately i'm doing p90x)
