How many beers do you drink?

Question

If you are a beer drinker do you participate in events, nights out, etc that allow you to drink beer?

How many beers do you drink at one sitting.

I have a friend who says he doesn't drink during the week.

Yet I've noticed he drinks six beers in a three hour sitting.

He will also attend functions that coincide with beer drinking. Rarely will attend events that don't have beer drinking.

6 beers in 3 hours to me is way to much.

Add: How many beers, mixed drinks or glasses of wine in the same time frame for a woman to consume would be too much or look bad??

But maybe guys do this. I've never paid attention until now.

Since im a young dane, i tent to drink ALOT! lol! The youth in Denmark is a bunch of alcoholics!
IF we take a Standard party at my friends house, i may consume anywhere from 10-15 beers + shots in 4-5 hours. It may vary depending on my mood, the girls (hihi) and so on.

i tend to drink at weekends and ill tell you for one thing, 6 beers in 3 hours......pfft... when me and the boys get together we drink way more than that. i personally can consume a full 70cl bottle of vodka in less than three hours... between me and my mate just a few months ago we drank 6 bottles of vodka in a binge from about 8pm till 1am.. just last night i drank 2 glasses wine, 1 tripple bacardi and coke and 8 bottles or magners cider from 6 till 10.

Depends how drunk I want to get! But normally, in 3 hours at a bar, maybe 3-5 beers, my girlfriend can drink a lot more than me, but she's from one of those vodka loving countries..

I can drink much more than I would like to admit but I have an addictive nature. I have stayed away from most things the last few years. 6 beers in three hours is absolutely no problem for me, I could repeat that in 3 hour blocks many times over(thats why I slowed down). On very rare occasions I have pounded two bottles of Jim Beam, of course it was over the course of several hours and the conditions worked out. Ther have been times wher less than one bottle has put m on my ass.

How ever many beers it takes for me to be climbing up onto the roof of a house and jumping down. I rarely drink though.

Most of the men I know over 40 say 2-3 beers. All the younger ones say 6 is nuttin.

I guess I don't like when a person lusts after the beer. Says stuff like Oh it's 5 pm time to crack open a beer. Or can't wait to get to the pub and relax.
When they look forward to the drink. That's a red flag to me

I also don't want to be super judgmental just because I have no experience being around men who drink.

I can drink. When I was younger OMG! But now I drink maybe 3 beers in 3 hours or 3 glasses of wine in 5 hours.
Mixed drinks I have no idea. I guess a lot. But I don't get drunk.
I don't want to be around people who get drunk. People without control of the faculties freak me out!

When I did drink I would have 6 beers in the first hour. After the first 3 beers shots would start. Over the course of a night out with friends I would probably average at least 15 drinks. Needless to say this was a recipe fo disaster. I am very thankful I quit before I ruined anyones life =).

Islander 6 beers in 3 hours really isn't that bad nor is it a sign of a problem. After those 3 hours only 3 of those beers are left in his system. Now he certainly should not drive as he would be over the legal limit and his reflexes would be affected. Try and notice if he can stop when he or others want him to or if he gets irritated at the thought of the bar closing or the function ending.

As for the question about women. When their eyes get glassy and they start taking off their shoes and getting grabby or emotional, this is the point that turns me off. This is the point when they tend to start cheating or looking for one night stands. No bueno.
