I dropped a case of Jiff peanut butter off at our local Women in Distress Shelter. No rep needed I already feel good about it.

Donated $100 worth of savoury and sweet snacks, which I made myself, to a charity party raising funds for a local disabled school in Istanbul. I enjoyed the opportunity to be creative by designing and making the snacks.

ALL of the money you donate to the Salvation Army goes to those that need it.
In my opinion, this is the only charity that does this. The rest of them, a large portion of donated funds go to pay big salaries to the CEO's. The CEO of the Salvation Army, takes only 12,000 a year for expenses.
Give to those red kettles, it will get to the places that need it the most.

I don't have an income but when it comes to christmas theres a contribution made in the form of clothing and hampers to local community centres. Tis the Giving season! Also what are rep points? Are they visible to me ( using itouch instead of computer )

I just dumped a lot of clothes in a donation box at my college, if that counts.
I also tutor math, physics, and chemistry at underprivileged schools in the Portland Metro area, and I was doing that back in LA for the last three years before I moved, mainly as a volunteer, too. Something about that look in those kids' eyes when a concept finally clicks... just melts your heart.
