I'm posting this for anyone who, aside from myself, is having problems getting the signature to meet the required parameters of the forum.

Since I've returned from my eight month break of PE and happiness, I figured I'd change what my stats say in my signature, so those who have yet to read my log can see the negative results of not cementing gains has.

This is what I tried to put into the signature:

Previous Stats Week 6 (8/18/08) BPFL: 4.125" | FG: 4.375" | BPEL: 6.75" | EG: 5.375"
Current Stats Week 1(3/8/09) After 8 months of no PE BPFL: 4.16" | FG: 4.25" | BPEL: 6.61" | EG: 5.25"

And this is what the site responded with:
Your signature can not be longer than 300 characters including BBCode markup.

Then I tried this:

From there I tried using a site with an engine that tracks the maximum number of characters allowed and how many remain (Youtube comments). I posted the above signature into the comment tab and it said out of 500 characters, 297 remain. So I took out the word "After" and this is what I have:

Youtube displayed, Remaining character count: 202 (meaning I had used 298 characters).

Still I copied it into my Edit Signature area, and still to no avail it displayed that same message.

I don't know if it's possible, but I'd like to have a remaining character count for the signature editor, so people know what the limit is. I just wanted to have my quote, show people how much a person can gain in six short weeks, and how much someone can lose from 8 months of nothing.

Everything in my signature has importance. The quote has to do with PE versus pills or hangers and other costly options. The initial stats show what I was, and how far I came in six weeks like others can too. And then the current one is meant as a warning for those to cement what they earn.

Okay, that's my rant.

Perhaps you should take out the color changes and go for italicizing or bolding things when necessary.

I understand totally. I wish I had a crapload of stuff in my signature too, but if we had what we wanted, the signatures would be sooo crowded.

You're gonna have to stick to the stats only. Sorry...unless you dont want anybody to know your stats. But that's kind of the point of this forum though...One or the other..
