What type of haircuts do think look best for a man, and what type are you sporting?
I usually have had long hair for the past 10-15 years or so, and it's something that my wife likes most about my physical appearance. At the moment it's long but not enough to tie back. I have a very gradual case of advancing widow's peaks, and because it is so gradual, I'm thinking it's going to be strange determining where to draw the line between appearing youthful and looking like I'm in denial. My plan is to get a head start on aging gracefully and go for a classic short Caesar cut, something like George Clooney's hairstyle.
This one is a modern take on the classic Caesar cut and I think it would go well with advancing widow's peaks.

Facial hair is something to consider with a hairstyle too. I don't think I look good with 3 day growth like that fellow.

It's surprising though how many different styles you can do even with very short hair. A little faux haux looks pretty trendy, combed forwards, textured and a bit muzzed, combed to the side with a part for a smart conservative look, slicked back. When it's quite short, even a slight variation in length at any place can change the whole look significantly.
