What is fatherhood like?

I'm just wondering I've always thought about it and decided I want to have a son(in the future not now haha). Can barely take care of myself right now. :|

Do you regret it?

Advice? (Besides the fact that I need to find a partner first....or possibly adopt.)

I have about a 95% chance that my first kid would be a son, since on my mom's there is 6 men and 2 women(including my mom) and my dad only has a brother. I only want a max of 3 kids my self

I had a son when I was 23 years old. Now I live alone with him as I divorced his mother and I have more resources to take care of him than she does. I'm almost 26 now. I'd say the feelings is kinda in the extreme ends of the spectrum. When it's weekend and I'm out having fun with him it's really nice and I love him more than anything in the world. Sometimes in the day-to-day chores it just sucks ass. Having to get up at 6 every day when he wakes up and no possibility just to sleep late if you want to etc. So it obviously puts some restrictions on your lifestyle. More than you think about before you've tried it. But somehow even when it sucks ass it's the best thing in the world. I never regret it but if I could do it all over again I would have chosen another mother as it can be hard to do it with a bad mother or alone.

Growler that's very honest and nice of you. Sounds pretty cool, but yeah I understand the restrictions. But perhaps I'm accustomed to something of that sort, growing up I've never had much "freedom" from my parents you know most kids get to go parties and to the movies or mall with there friends etc, I've never had that, never been allowed. I am 18 now and it's still not allowed(because I still go to college and live in their house).

Obviously that would change when I move out, but still I suppose I am prepared in that way.

I have 5 boys and I really like most of them, lol. Being a father is cool as hell bro, just enjoy it.
