Hi JP,

I'm so glad to hear she is on the mend. My lady has her ups and downs, which is the case with Alzeimer's. The lack of natural light this time of year takes its toll on her--me too, for that matter. The new meds she is taking seem to be helping, and her cognitive ability is still excellent. I get her back for a few hours each day, especially in the morning. As the day progresses, her short term memory loss grows (sundowners syndrome?) She has many skills still intact, thank God. And she is most aware of her losses, which can be tough at times. My daughter, (one and only), just wants her "old" mother back. I'm afraid this is not to be.

Hey Bob, yeah, the wife is doing O.K. Still really sore, which can be expected, thanks for asking. How is your lady doing?
