Default Muzzle Hanger FAQ

There is a fair amount of information on this site about the muzzle hanger, but I am left with quite a few questions about the device and its application. It looks brilliantly effective and simple, so I'm quite keen to try it as soon as possible.

I know I have written a good deal, but I would be incredibly grateful if Dustpan, or someone knowledgeable (perhaps Remek) would respond to each one. Given my poor experiences with the Bib Hanger (though Bib is a wonderful and earnestly helpful fellow indeed) and the MaxVac, I approach this with an inquisitive mind to ensure that I do it correctly.

So, here they are:

1. I've read that Dustpan has modified the hanger, but what exactly are the modifications, and how am I to make them myself? Is this the dorsal nerve modification spoken of?

2. How is the hanger modified so that the hose clamp is no longer necessary for 20 pounds or under? (perhaps answered above)

3. What is the actual measurement of the cotton wrap beneath the what-a-grip? I've read three different dimensions on the forum. From what material should the cotton wrap be cut?

Answer:
There isn't any cotton wrap under the What-A-Grip

4. Why is the cotton needed? Can you not simply place the What-a-Grip directly onto the shaft skin?

Answer:
The What-A-Grip can go on to the shaft of the penis ( Make sure that the smooth side is inward)

5. Does the the diameter of the What-a-Grip not require that one's flaccid penis girth be a certain size? In other words, if one's girth is too slight, might the diameter of the What-a-Grip be too great to hug the shaft skin flushly, and therefore not work properly?

Answer:
The size of the What-A-Grip will fit any size shaft you put it on.

6. What size hose clamp is recommended?

Answer: It all depends what size hose clamp that you want use. I use either a 13-38mm or a 21-44mm hose clamp it all depends if I use a elastic wrist strap over the What-a-Grip.

7. Is the hanger attached in a stretched flaccid position, or simply in a natural flaccid state?

Answer: The hanger is applyed in the natural flaccid state.

8. My current flaccid girth sits between approximately 4.2" and 4.5", and my erect girth is roughly 5.5". What muzzle size is recommended for me? Am I to find one with a circumference equal to my girth? Does it need to be a bit smaller for a tight fit, or a bit larger to accommodate the wrap?

If the Omnipet nylon muzzle is in fact the correct brand and model, then the following will apply.

The Omnipet sizing is such that the "snout" circumference of a size number one muzzle at 4.25" jumps all the way to a 6" circumference at a size number two. I was wondering how this will affect matters in hanging. What happens if a man is say 5.15" in flaccid girth? Which size would he opt for, for that is quite a disparity in muzzle circumference?

It does seem other brands don't necessarily size in this fashion. Nonetheless this nylon muzzle appears the best suited for the job of hanging, in terms of its robust construction. Just look at the weight Dustpan hangs. Eighty-plus pounds is incredible.

If the Omnipet turns out to be the wrong brand, then I suppose this last bit should be disregarded, but I thought it merited a mention.

The model and sizing I speak of can be found here: http://www.morrco.com/kwikklipnylm1.html

9. I saw photos of the hanger, but what name does it go by, and what material is it comprised of (to help me identify it)? I went into Pet Smart earlier, but they seemingly had not the correct size nor correct brand. So, I went online, and found a nylon muzzle with the "Kwik Klip" feature produced by OmniPet. Is this the right one?

10. In the photos, it appears the hanging straps actually sit on top and bottom of the head, rather than on the sides. Is this an illusion, or is it an intentional positioning of the hanger?

Answer: When the Muzzle hanger is put on, the straps go to each side of the gland so there isn't any preasure to the head of the penis.

11. Where do you place the clamp--at the top, bottom, or middle of the muzzle portion covering the wrap?

Answer: You can place the clamps on the top and bottom.

12. Does the hanger pull excessively on the skin? In other words, is the pressure applied exerted upon the internal structures of the penis (ligs, tunica) and not the skin. I don't want to end up with a lot of excess skin.

Answer: After putting on the hanger and before you tighten the clamps, pull the skin back to the base of the penis. This will put all of the weight on the ligs, tunica, not the skin of the penis.

13. Is Dustpan manufacturing these muzzle hangers, for sale?

Answer: I haven't manufactured any muzzle hanger as of yet. I have given them away to some of the guys on the forum.

14. I can't quite tell, but it looks like Dustpan is actually wearing the section that would go on the bottom of the dog's snout on the top of the shaft. Am I right? And I'm not referring to which end is to go on first towards the base. Rather I am referring to the top and bottom portion of the muzzle, and there respective places on the shaft.

15. How far behind the head is the muzzle to be positioned?

Answer: It is positioned about 1 inch back of the gland.

Thanks, Remek. I think this could be grand, as the Muzzle Hanger appears the best in its class, yet remains little known in the world of PE.

Yes, thank you, Dustpan, very much. I truly appreciate your attempts to answer my queries.

Can you please answer the others as well? I made a real attempt to ask intelligent and comprehensive questions. Just a few remain the answers to which would truly help me in using the Muzzle Hanger properly. At this point, I'm not even sure of the proper brand and I know nothing of the modifications.

If I've not been clear enough in the posing of my questions, I'll be glad to rephrase. Just please let me know.

Cheers to both Dustpan and Remek.
