Hey guys, well I have been jelqing for a couple of months now usually at really high erection levels. I do however lower the intensity of the actual exercise by using the right hand exclusively (in order to fix curvature and decrease the intensity of the jelq). I move up the shaft from the base relatively quickly (2 seconds) with the right, stop short of the glans, and then go back again. I have not injured myself this way and it has helped a lot with the size of my glans which is clearly bigger than the shaft about 0.2-0.4 difference in girth. It has helped me gain some length and girth (less noticeable than growth of the glans).

If I do want to increase intensity, I just do the jelqs slower (5 seconds maximum). I don't do jelqs with a very hard grip because my penis is extremely veiny and they have become more prominent ever since I started pe.

I think people should decrease intensity unless they have plateaued. Once again the less is more philosophy at work. Let me know what you guys think of this. Thanks!

Back off on the erection levels. Do the Jelqs correctly with both hands. You will see those gains you are looking for.

Okay so let me get this straight.

Get half erect. 40-60%. make an OK grip at the base of the penis. Use lots of lube, push the blood up the shaft with your right hand. Then when you reach the glans, start an OK grip with your left hand. Halfway up, put your right hand back to the base of the penis. Dont squeeze too hard, just enough to push the blood through the penis into the glans. Each jelq must last 3-4 seconds.

V jelqs: make a fist where the inside of your hand is facing your stomach. place your penis between the middle and ring fingers. Gently pull up the shaft. (same left/right hand technique).

Please correct me if my V jelqs are wrong.

I have always jelqed at between 30 % and 50 % erect and have made tremendous progress at this level--always worrying about popping a blood vessel or bruising my delicate peter. (I want to keep it looking pink and healthy). I have heard of injuries, albeit rare, when people have jelqed at 100 % erection levels.

You are right going411by7. It's not as rare as you might think. Thrombosed veins are usually the result of too much erection and squeezing with too much pressure.

Wow, I am really glad how this thread turned out - thanks, JP and HT!

Jelqing at lower erection levels (40-60%), I have to report, really does some incredible things.

It's funny how I started this thread to remind myself and others to take it softly (I always used to read, mainly at Thunder's Place, about people going to rough on their willie), but it turns out that I was even going too hard myself! Just goes to show how easy it is to overdo the jelq.

Yep, Jelqing gets to be such a habit, that we really forget what the intensity should be.
Still easy to wind up with an injury even after all these years. Good to remind ourselvs from time to time. Although, giving out advice, pretty much keeps it in mind.
