Default Relaxation....wow

Okay, this is going to be a strange thread. Not really practical, but more of an observation.

So, last week I was hypnotized for the first time. It was part of my therapy for relaxation and anxiety, not to get into too many details. Long story short, I went home afterwards and had a GREAT PE session. I was much more relaxed, much more focused on what I was doing, without all the hangups that sometime accompany a session. It was, in two words Enjoyable and Intense.

Again, unless you know some form of self-hypnosis this isn't really a practical observation. But, I thought I'd share.

Thanks for sharing it, TallMan.

I totally see how that makes sense. I've stopped drinking coffee before my PE session, because I find that I don't have that relaxed feeling which you describe, and which we both agree is necessary for a good PE session. Now, where to find a hyptonist.

I think I have right from the start practiced a form of self hypnosis when working out. I've never thought of it as self-hypnosis, but rather intense relaxation and total absorption in my P.E. session. I'm never aware of time nor am I aware of the number of jelqs, stretches, etc. I am totally focused on my dick and my entire body, and how they react to what I am doing. My sessions vary, but could well last for two or three hours, especially if I am doing them at night or in the morning.

I suppose that yoga and/or meditation would produce the same effect.

Sounds good. I am trying this, too. But I am a pretty anxious/crazy person, so it doesn't always work and then I get angry. I try to not consume anything coffee-like before jelqing. That is just hazardous.

I have been an anxiety ridden person for most of my life, but I have made great steps to overcome it in the past year.

I have a lot (19 GBs) of self hypnosis audios and use a few of them every night before bed. If I do take a session in the middle of the day, I find that I am much more successful at anything I attempt to do afterwards. Playing guitar, singing, working out, studying, reading, PE...

Some of us who have dealt with anxiety for most of our lives are really taken aback when it is removed, even momentarily, and we can really see the impact that it has on our lives.

Keep making progress, and keep moving on from it. It will be a thing of the past soon.

Caffeine is very detrimental toward any PE efforts. It constricts blood vessels, so logically, you simply won't get the same pump that you would without it.

If you want to look into some self hypnosis audios then I highly Dr. Lloyd Glauberman's HPP (Hypno Peripheral Processing) series. I've tried them all, Dick Sutphen, Paul McKenna, Paul Scheele, Kelly Howell, Steve G. Jones (and, yes, some Wendi Friesen), Chris Morrison, and Dr. Glauberman's are head and shoulders above the rest of them.

Thanks, Heat89, I will look into that.

I definitely know what you mean about how, if you're an anxious person like us, when anxiety goes away for a little while and it just feels strange, like things can't possibly be this good, something must be wrong!!!

I hate that. And then you eventually find something to worry about.

I'm getting better, though, I think.
