Default Best green tea I ever tasted!

I just started drinking green tea because of this forum and I kind of discovered an AMAZING recipe that is EXTREMELY convienient.

It takes:

4 bags green tea
4 ounces 100% apple juice
1 squirt of honey (1 tablespoon)
1/2 lemon
Ice
Nalgene bottle

1. First, brew the green tea using a coffee maker.

2. Next, pour the apple juice into the nalgene bottle. This is easy because the bottle lists ounces on its side.

3. Fill up the Nalgene bottle to the brim with ice, then pour in the hot green tea.

4. Take the lemon and squeeze all the juice into the bottle.

5. Add the honey

6. Twist the cap onto the bottle and shake.

Now you have 32 ounce of cold green tea that you can take with you wherever you want to go.

It tastes absolutly INSANE good. About 4 years ago there was this tea that came in a big jar that I got at a gas station. It was so good and I had thought that it was the best tea I ever had. This tastes exactly like it - I mean 100% this is the best tea I ever had.

Caffeine May Help to Prevent Alzheimer's

Two studies in the July 2009 issue of Journal of
Alzheimer's Disease show that five cups of coffee a day reverse
memory loss in mice with Alzheimer's disease. The coffee also
reduced blood and brain levels of beta-amyloid,the abnormal
protein that may cause Alzheimer's disease in mice and people.
Other studies by the same researchers at the University of
Florida show that caffeine lowers blood levels of beta-amyloid
in elderly non-demented humans, and when given in early adulthood,
prevents memory loss in mice bred to develop Alzheimer's disease
in old age. Previous studies on rabbits also showed that caffeine
may help to prevent Alzheimer's.
Researchers at the Florida Alzheimer's Disease
Research Committee plan to start studies in humans to
evaluate whether caffeine can prevent memory loss of early
Alzheimer's disease. Other experiments by the same group
show that caffeine may prevent memory loss by blocking the
enzymes that make beta amyloid.
The amount of caffeine in two to five cups of coffee
(200 to 500 milligrams) is probably safe, but more than five cups
a day may cause insomnia, nervousness, irritability, nausea,
anxiety, a fast or irregular heartbeat, headaches, breast pain
or muscle tremors. People who have high blood pressure or narrowed
arteries leading to the heart may be advised to restrict caffeine.
However, the Nurse's Study showed that heavy coffee drinking is
not associated with increased risk for high blood pressure.
Unfiltered coffee raises blood levels of the bad LDL cholesterol
and blood sugar levels after eating. Pregnant women are advised
to restrict caffeine since it may cause miscarriage or low
birth weight.
Many studies show that caffeine can improve mood,
alertness and energy, prevent diabetes, Parkinson's disease,
and liver cancer, decrease the risk of stroke and may help
prevent skin cancer. It also increases endurance in athletes.
I think you can get some of the same benifits in decaf, im a coffee lover but if i drink 3 cups of of the caffinated stuff i get mean.

I rather doubt it. The research attributes the benefit to caffeine so removing it will also remove the "active ingredient."

Yeah that is good you need the equivalent of 7 cups of green tea to cause a weight loss and or lower blood pressure. This brand says it is equivalent to 8-9 cups of green tea. Example a few years a go i was taking super green tea which is about a 7 cup equivalent the crap i have now maybe 2-3 cups. So yeah mega green tea is great.

Yeah, but if you keep up with the huge volume of green tea you recommend, you'll be ahead of the curve KP! By the way, where's the john? I'm trying to drink 7 cups of green tea (bottled or brewed) and I am constantly needing to take a leak!

Sorry for the big bump but I think this thread as a good potential

I´ve made a search and I´ve found that these supplements could be benefical

1. Blueberry + Pomegranate + Cacoa

Blueberry Extract with Pomegranate & CocoaGold, 60 vegetarian capsules

2. Berry complete --> lots of berries here

Berry Complete, 30 vegetarian capsules

3. Bilberry extract

Bilberry Extract, 100 mg 100 capsules

4. Somewhere I read that pomegranate it´s also great, this is the best extract I´ve found so far

NutritionStyle: Pomegranate - 750mg / 60 ct.

I think that the most cost effective stack would be 1 + 3

Any thoughs KP?

Kind regards
