So.. we need to bring sufficient hormones ie DHEA and androstenedione being the best, and liver enzymes into the penile shaft to produce more DHT locally also while taking something like saw palmetto to stop DHT attacking the prostate and hair cells.

Very interesting and exciting read read KP! I will try and read more of that book some time when I can really sit and get to grips with it as I am abit rushed right now! So when you were growing at an alarming rate, you were edging alot and taking billberry extact? Why were you taking this in the first place out of curiosity? Does it have health benefits? If its safe to try and may buy some, I mean what do you have to loose by taking some berries This could be a missing link in PE. I have always wondered if there are "internal" factors which efect PE, such as hormone levels, receptor levels, nutrtition...ie factors other than how hard you stretch, how long you stretch and how much you rest! Do you still take this extract? I noticed you say your gains are more in sporadic spurts now compared to when you gained. Do you feel edging would be essential if using this extract? Thanks KP! SA |

It appears that DHT receptors are in the first 21 one layers of Dermis (skin) By lightly stroking your cock for a period of one half hour while erect stimulates local DHT. Hence edging and ballooning need to be done for a minimum of a half hour. I would venture to guest taht light jelqing wigth a very light feather light grip also would accompolish the same. To support this hypothesis i am going to ask permition from Ike over at TP to barrow a very interesting thread.

Again Great thread KP! Im really finding all this info very useful! Lets see if we can lay out some mechanisms of how things work/happen. Im new to all this chemical/biological side of PE so I am going to have to start from the beginning! So, DHT: 5alpha Dihydrotestosterone - Its a biologically active metabolie of Testosterone, formed in the prostate gland, testes, hair folicles and adrenal glands. 3 Times more powerful than T. Dihydrotestosterone - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia So this DHT could be PRODUCED by the folicles in the skin of the penis (the "local" DHT as you say KP). And as you say, light stroking could stimulate these folicles. Ive been reading around and see that DHT is very influencial in the growth of penile tissues during puberty. So what changes when puberty stops? I shall read more of the text to try and find out!! Is it that DHT levels drop after puberty or is it that receptor nummbers in the tissue drop? Are these recoptors located throughout ALL tissue types or just the smooth muscle? What about the tunica? Does that grow or must that be stretched? It must grow, I mean when our units grow during puberty we dont stretch it, it just grows from a chemical reaction right? And how does this relate to edging and balooning? So when we are going through puberty we experience alot of nocturnal erections, this fills our penis with blood...DHT rich blood? And this stimulates growth? So is it the case the more noctural erections we get during puberty the bigger put penis grows? Is this why morning wood is important in PE? Thanks KP SA |

Ive thought of something else. Priapsm! Maybe in individuals with high levels of DHT, the maintained erections allowed DHT to bind with receptors and cause the uncontrolled growth?! |

Another final issue. While researching DHT I found afew statements claiming DHT speed male pattern baldness. Does anyone have any information about this? But incidentally I have read afew statements claiming that even thought green tea increased DHT levels Green Tea has been found to prevent hair loss in laboratory mice. I know I asked you this in my PM to you KP, but maybe It would be a good question for this thread for people like myself who are new to supplements; Do many of these supplements such as billberry extract cause DHT to increase? Is this why they are beneficial to PE? And is increasing androgeneic DHT a safe thing to do? OK, Ive emptied my brain for now |

This is where supplementation can help a bit. Vitamin "C" and Zinc make testosteron act right. Everytime you ejaculate you lose Zinc. So supplementing with zinc can help with penis growth during adolesense. Young boys jack off 2-3 times per day. It is advantasious to make sure they get at least 20mg of Zinc per day and around 500-1000 mg of of vitamin "C". When and if I have sons this will be part of thier early PE training. You men who are 18 you are still going through adolescence. Make sure your diet contains enough zinc and vitamin "C". This serves us older men well to even though we tend to jerk off less. I a sure you if you take Zinc and Vitamin "C" you may find yourself having more sex and or jerking off more. I have a feelng but no links to back it up yet. That zinc and vitamin "C" tame DHT and keep it to its more useful function. To tell you the truth I would rather go bald and have a great big healthy dick than lots of hair on my head and a short and useless penis.
