Warming up with a rice sock or washcloth is the cheap alternative; Infrared is a more expensive alternative, and I agree that if used correctly and safely this may benefit PEers more.

And I strongly agree that the reason that this isn't as highly advocated by remek in his guide, although it is there, is due to newbies tendencies to overdo things. And overexposure is something to really be careful about. I like your set up from what I've heard.

Lemme do some research...

Aha, as I suspected, or read a year ago ;P, there is more information that is important considering IR heat and the penis, not just the body. I also read about this at askmen.com

To summarize, sperm dies at body temperature, so cover your testicles with a sock or something.

A 250 watt bulb should be 2 feet away from you. More matts, more distance. Warming up takes about 5-10 minutes with the heat lamp. Probably because unlike a towel or a rice sock, the heat is consistent.

I think another warm up session may be okay. But not directly after PE. I would follow the same rule for masturbation after PE: 1 hour or more.

So far, I have yet to find a side effect.

Even Wikipedia doesn't mention side effects unless you are doing it for a kind of therapy. Just thought I'd see if the ridiculousness of Wikipedia contacted IR Therapy, yet. haha

I'm going to invest in one of these once I get things settled where I'm at.

Something tells me that I shouldn't trust this stuff on my penis. I don't want to become impotent. I don't think it's a good idea to bombard your penis with infrared rays. Just my opinion.

I second that notion. I feel antsy enough with a rice sock.

I would say sense I am very unfertile I want to give it a go. I just need to find the right device. I have looked on e-bay and everything and I 'm not having very good luck. Anyone who knows where to get a "good" lamp please PM me.

i actually have a dr.scholls massager with infared built in to the back of the head, and yes its meant as like a back massager but hey i got it for free. there are three settings... vibrate, infared heat, or vibrate plus infared heat, now i recently started using the infared(no vibration) before pe and after. i havent payed attention for any differences though.
