Ok, I have a theory, so lets test the water ![]() What is the difference between edging / ballooning compared to light pumping at the end of a PE session? Here are my thoughts on the matter. One of the reasons we edge and balloon is to fill the penis with blood, to maximum engorgement and stretch out the internals of the penis to their maximum capacity. Please note, for this example I am going to ignore the other benefits of edging and ballooning for increasing your "staying power" in bed ![]() So, purely on getting the maximum engorgement, surely light pumping and edging / ballooning do the same thing? Before anyone asks, I'm not trying to sell a pump, or suggest people should buy one, but just rather trying to understand if it would assist after a PE session. My thought process was: 1. You jelq / squeeze, etc and expand the penis, stretching it internally and expanding the spongy tissue. 2. When finished, an edge or balloon session helps to pull fresh blood into the penis, maximising your "new stretched" state tissue. This helps to really fill the penis out at much as possible. 3. However, if you pump, you're achieving the same, albeit you can maintain that pressure and stretch for however long you stay in the pump for. I do not believe pumping works on it's own without some form of manual PE. In order to grow, you need to stress and stretch the internals of your penis (safely of course) rather than just achieve a hard erection. HOWEVER, I do believe that a light pump after a session can help to really take you to your fullest stretched engorgement possible, which I would hedge a bet to be a good thing. I decided to test this theory recently and bought myself a pump. It's still early days but the results so far have been interested. I have been doing a light 15 minute pump after my PE routine and my girth both erect and flaccid has increased. Straight after coming out of the pump, my base girth went from 6 inches to 6.5 inches. My mid-shaft girth was up from 5.5 inches to just under 6 inches and just under my glans girth was up from 5.25 inches to about 5.35 (small increase). Now I appreciate that this is "pumped" size, but this was a light pump after a session and not a crazy high pressure pump you see a lot of people doing. These gains haven't cemented yet, but I'm monitoring this closely. In my eyes, the exercises do the work and the pumping gives it a good stretch out at the end. I guess it's a bit like a balloon. If you jelqed it, it would stretch over time. If then you pumped it up to its new stretched volume and held that for a small amount of time after jelqing, then it would probably become more stretched and larger in volume more quickly. Anyway, just a theory that I thought I'd test out. I'll let you know how it goes....

I am with you on this idea. I try and finish off my PE with pumping 2 or 3 times a week. Though I think it is more about WATER rather than BLOOD filling the tissue, there is still expansion going on as in compressions and clamping. They I imagine have other differences physiologically, but I think if after the PE you get into the chamber and force some more expansion it can't hurt and I am sure will help at the very least with girth.
