So since I havent received a single reply on my post on someone elses thread I decided Id make my own.

Okay so, has anyone here ever had this problem? Im 24 and was told by my primary care doctor that I have ED, except from the research Ive done on ED it doesnt match up.
The only way I seem to be able to get and maintain "hard" erections is in certain positions. When I say certain positions I mean..CERTAIN. Like If I want to get myself hard sitting here at my desk while watching porn for example. I could easily drop trou, pull it out and go at it but I wont get a "good" hard erection. It will grow slight larger but will just hang there, wont stand up. Now If I lean back, scoot my butt to the edge of my seat and get in that "certain" position. My penis will grow and get rock hard, but if i move slightly out of that position It will die down without hesitation. As you can see this makes it very difficult to have sex. Levitra or any other drugs similar to do not work on me unless Im in that position. I cannot seem to get erections at all while standing.
I would also like to NOTE that while in that seated position since it seems to be easiest to get erections in that position, I know when im in the right position because my toes always go numb while my penis is getting rock hard. So venous leak? or any other thoughts?

I do have a history of back and neck problems, though I always thought my back pain and spasms contributed to my "ED." I was proved wrong when i figured out my "positional" erection problem.

    Any input is greatly appreciated.
Oh and as far as health goes. Im active, fit, blood tests are all above ideal for my age. (cholesterol, LDL/HDL, negative on diabetes, etc..) Ive had the entire workup done. Questions feel free to ask.

How about a trip to a urologist. They are far better educated in those matters than a gp.

If rum, coffee, or a nap doesn't cure it then it's serious!

have you ever had your ciatic(probably spelled that wrong) nerves looked at, you say when you sit a certain way your toes get numb, how about your inner thigh area? I would think(guessing) that your lower back has something to do with that. Can you achieve the dong of steel while standing up or laying flat on your back?

Bigopimp makes a good poInt. In addition to the brain, there is a nerve center in the pelvic and lower spine region that contributes neurologically to the erection process. This is the reason that paraplegics are often able to achieve erections. Perhaps there is something causing pressure on this nerve center that is killing your erection, which is relieved when you get into your special position.

If you had a venous leak, I don't think you would be able to maintain an erection in your special position.

You can try placing a doubled over rubber band around your unit (behind the balls) once you obtain an erection in your special position and then change positions and see if you can maintain the erection with the constriction while kegeling in more blood. If the erection stays, than you probably suffer from one of the above causes, but only a urologist can determine the actual cause.

Note: The best urologist to consult is one that specializes in sexual disorders. Many urologists specialize only in urinary problems, prostate problems and implants.

Caution: If you try the rubber band test, make sure it is worked and stretched a number of times before placing around your unit, otherwise it will be too tight.

The above suggestions are good. You should get a sympathetic hearing with a urologist, as there is something there for them to sink their teeth into (figuratively speaking ).

The other thing I thought of was a perineal mass (abscess/cyst/hernia) that might be pushing against the penile arteries in some positions and not in others. A doppler ultrasound seems in order, covering both the penis and the perineal area.

maybe a circulation problem? maybe some how your boodflow is cut off at certain positions. to test i would take asprin 2 3 times a day for a few days and then see if there is any change. due to asprin thinning the blood there would be a noticeable change in your salute.

if not then look at other avenues.
