its a possibility, though i highly doubt it. ive lasted longer since hanging, but ive also stopped watching porn, masterbating, and slowly working on reverse kegel extended stretches (30-45 seconds) to alleviate pelvic floor tension....so i cant say with any certainty if hanging has contributed to it at all.
though i wonder if hanging has any type of relaxing effect on BC muscles
incorrect wrapping could lead to excessive pressure on the glans I presume? which would presumably lead to a period of desensitization

You're in the right ball park It's more so about having too much blood in the glans, and then applying weight. That's where most glans discomfort and bruising problems come from. That's why a guy should always give his glans and the front of his penis a good, hard squeeze after getting his hanger on and right before he tightens it. The glans should be very soft (little if any excess blood in it) during a hanging set.
