    When I move into my dorm, I am going to have very little time to get my hanging sets in, since I do 20 minute sets, and I don't want my roommates to wonder why I'm in the bathroom for over an hour every day. However, I go back home every weekend, where I have enough time to do my sets regularly. I am determined to get at least 1 set in on the weekdays, since "Hanging 101" recommends at least one set on rest days unless injured or incredibly fatigued.

    I am currently adding either a set or an increase of weight each week. Should I no longer add any more weight or sets every week when I move into my dorm? Or should I add weight/sets every month instead? I really want to continue making the best gains possible, so all input greatly appreciated!

    Read me and learn me. This method can help any guy who hangs and does not want hanging to consume his day. You should always be adding more weight when you are able. Again, thoroughly read what I linked you before asking more questions.

    Find a bathroom in one of the school buildings where you can lock the door and isn't in a high traffic area and doesn't get used a lot. Good luck.

    Where would he keep his weights? I can't imagine lugging them around after a while and as he gets to the heavier levels

    Maybe you'll get lucky and end up with a room mate that's hardly ever there. You may also end up with a rooom mate that sleeps in late or goes to bed early, giving you some extra time. At any rate, get as much time in as you can and aim for about an hour per hanging day. Listen to what Malehanger said to you, he knows what he has talking about

    Thanks for the link. Looks like a great routine, saves A LOT of time. How long is your rest in between sets though? And how have your gains using this routine compare to the gains you got from basic hanging?

    You only need enough time to restore bllod flow between sets, a few minutes is good. I have gained since going progressive. I actually stopped gaining for a while but since going with this routine I have gained about 1/2 an inch in less than 6 months. Imagine that, less time and more gains. maybe this Malehanger dude knows something, lol.
    There is also another fellow woh goes bu the name of Dashdemming who has gained significantly using only one set per day for quite a while. You will gain if you up the weight.

    I've always hung this way. I've gained over an inch in about a year and a half. I take a few minutes between sets.

    A big backpack would be a good option to carry weights in. Make sure to wrap in towel so they don't clank, it might even help give you a leg workout. Good luck.
