Default Thrombosed veins

I've managed to develop a few thrombosed veins on the top of the shaft. I think this was due to my introduction of clamping to my routine. So I've layed off most work, with the exception of heat and some light stretching, and a daily aspirin. It seems like it's taking quite a while for them to clear, although I have seen some improvement.

For those of you who have experienced thrombosis, how long did it take you to fix them, and are there any specific means that worked well for you?

Thanks for the input.

Usually a Thrombosed vein(s) will take about two weeks to resolve, providing you don't create any more trauma to the area. Sounds like you are taking the right steps.

I posted this on another forum but it definitely applies here-

When most men refer to a "thrombosed" vein in PE they're usually talking about a slightly distended vessel, not a full on clot that describes true thrombosis. It's a bit of a misnomer and should more accurately be described as a "hyperextended blood vessel" (or something to that effect). The term seems to have stuck though so you'll probably continue to see it on most PE forums.

Treat your vein with cool compresses and rest. You shouldn't do any form of PE until your vessel is fully healed. If and when you resume PE, be much more careful with the intensity so that you don't injure yourself again.

Thank you guys for the information.

What I'm experiencing is hardened veins (someone else described them here as "guitar string like" , which do have some hard, knot-like spots.

In any event, I'm approaching it with the same treatment and caution.

I too had one of these "hyperextended blood vessels" in my earliar days (mildly painful and sore). The "guitar sting type and knot type" both at different times. Scared the hell out me! My problem was to much internal pressure while jelqing with kegals. These blood vessles were the most underdeveloped at the time, taking the brunt of pressure. Now they are just as big and consitent in size as the rest. With pleanty of rest it went away within a couple of weeks. Take Big Al's advice he knows best.

Question Overtraining

I have noticed 2 odd veins during my exercising, one is a large vein on the right side starting at the base and moving all the way to the head, however not straight and it branches off quite a bit. The other vein is right near the head and only about 1/2cm in length and quite firm and bulging. If you read my "introduce yourself" I'd add it here but I'm new to forums and don't exactly know how to do that, I began doing a rather unusual routine since I started up on PE consisting of squeezing for about 30 minutes, almost like what they appearently call clamping. Anyway the veins only bulge while I'm doing a squeeze and they are visable if I'm edging but not nearly as bad as when squeezing. Like I said they are quite firm though I can move the larger vein around, the short vein I cannot move and it seems harder than the large vein. Do either/both of these sound like thrombosed veins? Should I won't be continuing the routine for some time either way because they worry me as I never noticed them before I began this routine.
