Default Anyone using a traction device (extender) only?

I've been using a vacextender for two months now. No results yet, but I haven't given it enough time so far I think.

I've created a progress log here: http://www.pegym.com/forums/progress-log/7364-mentals-vacextender-progress-log.html

Just curious if anyone here has seen results from traction only?

We're primarily a Gym and we exersize our units. Though many of us incorporate traction devices into our daily lives I'm not sure any of us actually rely 100% soley on a traction device. In my own oppinion the device alone, though productive, is so slow to stimulate growth that no one would have enough patience. I use mine as often as I can, and the only credit I can give it is that it helps prevent turtling for me and makes it very easy to measure a fully stretched flaccid length. I have to give the exersizes credit for my gains and improved function since I was gaining before incorporating the device and it really didn't advance or enhance gains to any discerable level.

I agree with PhybbisHammer's phabulous advice.

Extenders really don't yield much for the time and trouble. It varies from person to person, but generally people agree that it only really works for length, and you've got to get your hands dirty for girth. I used one for a while and wasn't too impressed with it.

I only recently discovered another thread on traction wrapping, and I guess I never really compared it to an all day stretcher. It makes a lot of sense that it wouldn't do much rather than stop turtling. The question is then, is it worth even incorporating one into your daily life (wether wrapping or a stretcher or the vacextender that Mental is using) as an addition to manual exercises. I've never used any kind of extender or wrapping. Mental, do you find it makes your PI's or gives any positive edge despite the lack of gains? Phibby, do you think the degree to which it prevents turtling warrents the use of wrapping of some kind?

I've said it and many others have too: healing in a partially extended state! Although I think an ADS would give more stretch than wrapping (I wrap with Ace bandage for 4 hrs after PE workouts). I like it and am getting used to it, I am healing incredibly fast that is for sure, I could probably do 2 full PE workouts per day if I wanted. Will probably start hanging in the afternoons as an addition

I used a traction device, a Fastsize, exclusively for 4 months. During that time, I increased my BPEL from 6.25'' to 6.8'', and my erect girth from 5.2'' to 5.7''. The following 3 months, I jelqed and pumped and continued to use the Fastsize. That put me at 7.125 BPEL and 6.25 girth, measured at the base. Also, before I was rather small in flaccid size at 3.5'' but now I average around 4.25-4.5''. So for me, an extender added length and girth. I have to add I was getting most days 8-10 hours as I work from home. Burt

Hi mental. I think like everything regarding p.e. there are general rules, but not many absolutes. I have only been going less than 4 months, but I believe in my own head that my traction device has been a huge boost for me, and I think its important to note that I started noticing length gains a couple of weeks after beginning using the device. I have it on for ages each day though, I would say between 4-6 hours per day depending on schedule. Not at all a couple of times per week.

Is it coincidence that I noticed gains when I started using it? is it the fact it reduces turtling? I certainly dont know, but I think its worked for me and is very important in my routine.

Just give it an honest try and see how you go. Then you can report back and let everyone know your own feedback.

I also am an advocate of ADS!

I use mine between 6-8 hours a day and I'm sure it's going to help me with my gains.

In addition, I can almost do a form of JAI stretch with it attached. All I do is sit upright in my chair and kegel. This performs a very similar stretch to the JAI stretch and again, I'm sure this will help with my gains.

Seems I'm on another time out as my constriction sleeve ripped after two days. With it I can easily go all day. I work from home so I'm going to aim for 8hrs 5 days per week. I'll keep reporting my progress in the log forum.

Anyway, I'm glad to hear some positive things about extenders!

It would seem the more time you can wear the device the better without doubt.

Definately heal in an elongated state, never turtle.

Maybe some day I can wear mine for several hours a day.
