I feel the need to address a very serious issue that has some significance within PeGym.

Small Penis Syndrome (SPS) is a common issue where men believe their penises are small, whether or not their penises actually are. This is a purely psychological phenomenon and it can and has messed up many lives. As many members on here are probably well aware, a large number of us on the boards have experienced some form of this syndrome, sometimes to mild degrees, and others are extremely affected by this. It is important to look at yourself and be honest about how you feel about your genitals.

In today's society, we are bombarded with penis jokes, size comments, and an overwhelming media that pushes the idea of "larger penises = better". Similar to women who are struggling with anorexia nervosa due to self-image issues, many men suffer the exact same way, with their penises. Fact is, penises are harder to change, and the information on how to properly handle penis health is scarce and hard to come by (thank god for this forum). Many men may suffer from this issue and attempt many different forms of penile enlargement. Some will fail, some will destroy their members, and a few will succeed... but the nature of this beast is that success only breeds further obsession.

Dieting can be done in a healthy way, yet those with anorexia struggle and starve themselves.
Penile enhancement can be done in a healthy way, yet a man suffering from severe SPS can't be fully satisfied, and this may lead to injury, sexual dysfunction, stress, depression, and many other issues.

If you find yourself overly concerned with penis size, avoiding women due to insecurities about your penis size, or becoming competitive about your penis size, please consider looking into options to deal with these issues. Therapy can be incredibly helpful for these kinds of things. While this forum can be helpful, sometimes it feeds a habit, and individuals will need to distance themselves. Do what is necessary for your health.

Small Penis Syndrome is an anxiety disorder, and is often confused with penis envy and micropenis.

I suffered from SPS, but statistically I also had a sub average penis. Probably why I remained a Virgin until I was 26. Whish I had known about PEG back then. Also wish I had gone to measurection.com, a great forum for guys who have smaller packages or think they do to learn to live with and appreciate what they have.

My experience:

1. Always thought small (SPS), always told otherwise (girlfriends), and some would even say the word we love to hear: big
2. Compared to porn way too much
3. Current girl has had much bigger (statistically huge), calls mine perfect, but has admitted thick feels good
4. I still think I'm small in girth (statistically average @ 5.0) and I'm just content with length (statistically long @ 7.25BP)

Trying to accept it for what it is, but still unhappy with the size likely due to SPS. Having a "good size" isn't good enough to appease my own criticism unfortunately.
