Since my book came out earlier this year, I have received several emails asking "does the book ship discreetly?"

This, along with the several "secret" conversations I've had with men who approach me and make sure that what is said is A & B only, has reinforced my strong belief that men don't want others to know about their PE habits.

So, when talks recently went around the office about placing a hardcover version of Exercising the Penis in bookstores, I was a little apprehensive. I wasn't sure if it would even sell one copy, as I didn't think many men would be willing to walk up to the counter with the book. However, a recent post by RadioHead made me think I might have been wrong. So here's a poll to find out.

DISCUSSION FOCUS: If you wanted to buy a PE book, would you buy it in a bookstore? Either way, why would or wouldn't you?

True, but how many women do you know who would willingly buy bust enhancers at a place like walmart? THey would never be seen walkin to the checkout with those, same thing here.

Honestly, if you're mature and you just don't care, then you're going to walk up to the counter and buy the book. Besides, you're never going to see the person at the cash register ever again. You just say hello, she scans the book, you pay and you walk out casually. In all sincerity, you shouldn't care whatsoever.

I walked into all major bookstores in Canada and I openly asked for ''Exercising The Penis''...The employees got very awkward but I didn't care. They just told me that they didn't carry it.

I wouldn't buy it at my local bookstore, because I know the person. But I would buy it in another bookstore, in another town, in another country no problem.

I'm surprised to see that every one who voted said "yes." That's much more than I anticipated. I figured the results would be half and half.

Skyfalcon and kingpole made interesting points: If men are willing to buy extenze and enzyte pills at Wal-Mart (and not to mention porn, manuals that make them a better lover, etc), why not a PE book? The main concern I've heard from people is the title: EXERCISING THE PENIS. You can't exactly hide what the book is when going up to the counter, as you can with Extenze (all it says on the box is natural male enhancement in small letters).

I'm going to leave this poll open for a few days. If the results continue to be positive, you may see the book at your local bookstore soon!

I think it would be a great idea to make your excellent book available to the general public.
I don't know if Barns and Noble or Boarders or any of the big chains would be up to carrying your book, although it wouldn't hurt to have your people contact them, but porn shops I'm sure, would. If people could only get it through their heads that this subject is so much more than just enlarging the penis and is tetra mount to overall penis health and keeping the reproductive system working well into old age, this subject would be as accepted as cardiovascular health or diabetes management is today. Good luck in getting this important material into the hands of those that need it most. JP

If I was single, I would definitely buy the book at a mainstream bookstore. I would just make sure that I took it to the sexiest cashier and use it to start up a conversation to ask her out. During the conversation maybe slip something in like, "I know size isn't everything but I'd like to turn my 8" into 10" if it's possible."

When I was single, I used a similar same tactic when I would buy condoms. I would take my items to the sexiest cashier or, if I saw a very attractive young lady in the store, I would make sure that I was at the same register as her so I could stand next to her. I would take the Magnum XLs and prominently place them on top of the other items I was buying. This would always get the ladies' attention. During the conversation, I would mention that I was buying them to be prepared because the last ones expired. That would put them more at ease that I wasn't a swinger out to nail tail, just a responsible citizen preparing for the future.

I know it seems corny but this has worked more than once. You never know unless you try. So get that book at your Borders or Walmart and use it to get that sexy cashier you've been lusting after for the last 6 months!

Absolutely!! The book should be in bookstores. I fact it should be right in the middle of the window displays at Borders. PE should not be a secret.
