How to Start a Poll

To start a poll:

STEP 1: Write your "Message," just as you would if you were starting a thread. The message would pertain to the poll, and can consist of whatever you want it to. Most people put the reason they are starting the poll in the message, but it doesn't matter. Whatever you want in your poll goes -- but the more it sticks out to people, the more they are going to want to "participate" in it -- so try to put a little bit of thought into your message.

STEP 2:After you have typed up your message, check the box ABOVE the "submit thread button" that box says "YES, post a poll with this thread."

STEP 3: Now you only have 10 minutes after you hit the submit button to fill out your poll. I do not know why you only have 10 minutes, but you do -- so make sure you know all the options you are going to have in your poll. Make the poll options SHORT and to the point.

STEP 4: After you have filled out all of your options, read them over and make sure they are understandable. The harder it is for people to participate in the poll, the less they are going to want to take place in it. Hence, make it user friendly.
