Hello gentlemen!
I've been reading these forums for quite a while because I happen to have a PE problem. It just happened a little over a year ago and it doesn't want to go away. I think it could be caused by absence of girlfriend and regular sex for quite a while, some other factors, but most importantly, I think, stress and tension. I think having control and being able to relax PC muscles certainly helps to last longer but it doesn't always work for me. Sometimes I'm able to easily relax PC muscles or reverse kiegel and sometimes not. I think muscles are not a cause but a consequence. In other words, stress and anxiety may cause tension which leads to tense PC muscles and, it seems, a more active sympathetic nervous system which seems to cause quick arousal and ejaculation. I have anxiety disorder and sometimes worry too much about things which get me stressed out and I notice that as my stress / anxiety level is higher the PE problem is more evident. There's a direct correlation between the two it seems. So I think it has a lot to do with sympathetic / parasympathetic nervous system. If we could only learn how to control it - that would be the ultimate solution. And if you learn to control PC muscles in addition - even better.
Sometimes I could go for 10 minutes with my girlfriend and sometimes barely for 2. The inconsistency might be correlated to how active your sympathetic nervous system is at the time. Or maybe when you're anxious/stressed your serotonin level decreases which seems to affect how long you last.
Do you guys find this to be the case with you? What are your thoughts?
Somehow, we have to get to the bottom of it and learn to have a better control.
