Thread: Unexpected progress (Consider me psyched !)

    2 days ago, I came across a blog post in which a yoga pose was said to cure premature ejaculation. The account was since then deleted so the blog post is not available anymore. The name of the pose is "butterfly pose" and you are supposed to do it 10 minutes a day. Here's the vid =>

    The guy in the video has nothing to do with premature ejaculation. The guy who posted this link just used the vid for explanation of the pose.

    The theory behind this goes like this:
    You have premature ejaculation because your pelvic floor is chronically tensed. This tension drives your orgasm and you cum fast. Exercising the pelvic floor only worsens things because your muscle tone is bad and the muscles are tight, which should be targeted through stretching and not flexing.

    I was skeptic first but I've been doing it for 2 days now (10 minutes each day) and the results are amazing ! The tension in my pelvic has already gone way down and I only get maybe 1/3 of the involuntary spasms that I used to get.

    Normally I would reverse kegel to counteract the tension builtup. But I could still feel the tension and the spasms were merely delayed. Now the tension is just not there anymore.


    Considering those results and that 10 minutes a day don't hurt anyone, I'd like for some of you to try this out and post your progress !

    Very interesting. Just like flexing the pc musles too much everyday can cause spasm in your pelvic area that can lead to one of the causes for pe. Have you tried having actually sex to see if this method works or progressed even thought u did this in two days??

    Arkham, what were your experiences as a result of trying yoga to beat pre-e? Did you make some improvements?

    I can't say I have pre-e but I'm not happy what I have. Similary to you I also feel tensed down there. I have seen improvements doing supta virsana, the prostate one.

    And this halasana and setubandhasana from "sperm count"
    And a position where you do a squat with your legs wide, then you push outward your knees with elbows.

    I don't do the rest of those I had posted because its too time consuming. But for sure I will add the butterfly one, its great.

    Interesting stuff. I was so sure that the butterfly pose was the one that helped me.
    I also did some other poses on those two days (but not as intensively). One of them was the one you mentioned here. I also did one where you support your back with your hands and lift your feet straight up in the air. And the bridge where you push your pelvic floor into the air.

    Since I wrote that post I have only been doing the butterfly and the looseness I felt before was gone the next day. At first I thought that I simply overdid it with the butterly...

    One of those exercises was definitely the right one for me... the squat (with outward knee-pushing) seems to really stretch the pelvic floor... I'm going to add this squat... to be continued

    I've been feeling the pelvic floor with my fingertips and the stiffness is very obvious, now that I how how a relaxed pelvic floor feels like !

    @Pegasus: No one there to do that with

    do you do this alone, or any other exercises? IE reverse kegels?
