    Thanks DJ. I sure hope I get some nice gains from hanging. There are 3 ways to gain from hanging, the way I see it; Length, Base girth, and extra skin. Win, win, win! Even 2/3 of those would be good.

    By the way, do you plan on doing more recent progress blogs, or maybe a progress thread?

    Yeah, I would be happy with 2 out of 3 also

    I really should get back into publishing my progress. I initially did it to stay accountable but found that I stay motivated with no problems without it. But still, I'll work on getting back on logging my progress at least to help help motivate others

    1x 6.25 lbs 20 mins to test the waters
    3x 7.5 lbs 20 mins

    I added an extra set 2 nights ago. Brings my total to 16 hours.

    I might add another set later tonight to see how fatigued I am.

    Day 18

    4x 7.5 lbs 20 mins

    Day 19
    1x 8.75 lbs 15 mins
    3x 7.5 lbs 20 mins

    Mostly SD, some btc, some swinging in the last set

    20 days straight of hanging. Haven't missed a day yet. Feelin pretty good, only annoyance is skin irritation.

    Got in a lot of 10 minute sets this time around. Reason being skin irritation. Then I switched to SD and was able to hang comfortably.

    2x 8.75 lbs10 mins
    1x 7.5 lbs 20 mins
    1x 6.25 lbs 10 mins

    The more weight, the more work needs to be put into adjusting things, I think. At 8.75 lbs the skin, only being conditioned for 3 weeks, isn't very happy. While hanging SD it's okay. BTC is way too much stress on the skin with 8.75. I will probably hover around 7-9 lbs for a few weeks, or until I'm comfortable enough to move up. I can still hang SD with 8.75. With swinging and circles this is great, but.. BTC is the best for hitting the ligs. All in all I might take it slower with the weight uppage and just add more sets.

    I think SD is the way to go from now on. Swinging the weight in circles is definitely helping with conditioning.

    I agree, I love hanging SD and swinging the weight in circles. As the weight goes around, I can feel the tension focus on the left CC, the right CC, the top and the underside individually in turn. I also like leaning forward with my hands agains the wall and swinging just left and right - you can really feel it hit the individual CC chambers then

    I wonder if swinging has any effect on base girth.. has yours gone up? It just seems like it would strengthen any muscles back there.
