Before I begin my log I am going to talk about my reasons for doing PE.

Married for 13 years as of June, 2009. Former college athlete, but since 1999 work and kids got in the way of me playing basketball which is what kept me in shape. 6'9" and hit 300 pounds about 3 months ago. Also around that time my wife cheated on me. One night deal which I found out about when her phone got a text at 11:00 the following evening. Thought it must be some kind of emergency, picked up the phone and my jaw hit the ground.

Since we have three kids and she begged forgiveness I decided to stay married. She says it was nothing to do with me but she is in great shape and the sex we had up to that point had evolved into her being on top 99% of the time as I was out of shape in a bad bad way. However I didn't have EQ problems, and jerked off 4-5 times a week. I didn't have great EQ, probably 7 on a scale of 10.

Since then I have been working out. Down to 280, gained a lot of muscle. Not in shape but I eat right and work out 3-4 times a week. I gave up drinking and smoking for the most part.

However, ever since "the incident" I have had EQ problems. I realize it is mental. I have stopped jerking off because I can't get erect unless I am with the wife. With the wife things were pretty bad. Erections were lasting 5-10 minutes at the most. I also am loosing my house, and my job is possibly going bye bye. I had those issues before but I drank so much I didn't worry about them.

So I got a prescription for Viagra from the Dr but I decided that wasn't the way to go. On the other hand Viagra made me realize the EQ I was missing.

Internet research led me to PE forums, Thunders was not accepting new members so I joined here.

Primarily I am looking for EQ, but also wouldn't mind growth.

The last time I took Viagra I measured just over 7" BP. I remember measuring at 19 and was 7" non bone pressed, so clearly I've had a little shrinkage.

I've done PE three times so far, beginners routine. Drinking errection tea and started Ginko and Ginsing.

Well then the best thing you can do is listen to the guys who really know their stuff here. Find one of the posted "beginner routines" and follow it. Myself, I am partial to the one Johnpop presents. They know what's best for you, and in your situation I think you can really come away far better off from the things being presented on this website. Just don't over do it, that's important.

Nacho,

A healthy weight at 6'8" (my height) is 226, I'm 186. So at 6'9" I'd guess somewhere around 230 or 240, so you're not far off from that. I workout every weekday and eat a minimum of 5,000 calories per day to work on gaining weight. I used to be 190. If you want help on losing weight, the slower you eat the sooner you get full, also eating small meals throughout the day will keep you full and filled with energy.

I'm sorry to hear about the affair, and you're 7" EL? What's your starting girth, thickness of the penis?

About EQ. A lot effects that, including our mood, but alcohol also plays a role. It increases desire, but lowers execution and size (blood cells dilate). For me and my bloodline, it increases desire, lowers size a tiny bit, but increases performance. Kegels are a great way to improve EQ, however if you overtrain the BC muscle you will possibly damage your EQ. I've been taking a break from kegels since Sunday, and my EQ seems to be rising to a 7 from a low 6. There's a forum devoted to Improving Erections and overall EQ, including how to become a multi orgasmic man. That parts fun.

I forgot to mention I didn't think about measuring the girth. I guess I'll have to pop another Viagra to find out.

At this point I'm not super overweight based on my height but I am crazy out of shape still. Getting better and taking it slow so I don't injure myself.

May 15, 2009 Log

Did beginners routine, and was able to get semi erect before starting jelqing ... ended up about 50% errect and Jelqued for 10 minutes. Guess the erection tea is helping.

Also warmed up for about 15 minutes before stretching, and did about 150 kegels earlier today.

I find kegels worked best for me if I did them in sets, I like to compare working the BC muscle to working CORE for body building, you can work it out everyday because it heals so quickly. I would try dividing that to three or four sets and see how the difference feels. I separate a set by about 30-60 minutes.

May 16th

Took the 15th off. I'm not noticing any turtling but I do notice flacid length is fuller.

Tried to measure girth but could not get erect. At about 30% I measured 5.5 girth midshaft.

Today I continue my beginner routine and will use a slightly lighter touch when jelquing.

I am taking Ginko, Cayanne, and drinking "Erection Tea". So far they aren't helping much if any.

Hey, Nacho! Just though I'd let you know you're not alone. My girl didn't cheat on me, it's a rather long story (in the post your story thread), but I had the same problem with getting hard for a few months afterward. It's really a pain in the ass, and was a HUGE blow to my self-esteem. PE has made my life far more confident and I haven't even made any significant gains yet. Only been at it a little less than a month! One thing I learned: never underestimate kegels!!

Also, I recently stopped drinking (on a regular basis). This dropped about 10 lbs. of bodyfat in a couple weeks. Seeing as you're WAY, WAY taller than me (a whole foot, actually), and heavier, you should drop proportionately more. Alcohol is empty calories anyway. I only drink when I'm going out on the weekends and want to get my swag on nawwmeann!!?

Anyway, you're doing all the right stuff, man! I've always found working out makes me a much happier person overall. I suggest a lot of weights and light cardio followed up by as much nutrient-dense food as you can get (you're a former college athlete, you don't need me to tell you that; you already know)!

Hang in there (pun intended) and keep it up mang you'll be a damn champ in no time!

Setback ...

Last night I did my beginner routine. I didn't kegel much during because I could tell the muscle was very tired. I am kegeling 2 days on, 1 day off.

I didn't edge at all because I knew the wife wanted to have sex so I jumped in the shower, then I jumped her. Thats where things went downhill. Couldn't get more than 60% erect, started thinking about it, the next thing you know I've got nothing.

I'm going to rest on the kegel side of things for a couple days.

Thanks for the encouragement. I read your story and I can see how that would hurt your ego a lot. I think the comparison is like you went through a bad storm that damaged your house, I went through Katrina and I'm not sure the city will ever be the same. On the other hand, I will rebuild the city. Brick by fucking brick.
