About a year ago I started looking into a permanent solution to birth control. I'm in my mid thirties and have a fairly large family and was confident that I wanted no more children. The wife wanted me to have a vasectomy but just saying that word out loud caused me to become fainthearted. All my life I had declared that under no circumstances would I allow someone to cut so near to my most prized possession, the penis. The wife continued to count the days until her IUD came out and she kept telling me how it was my turn since she had went through labor so many times. I didn't tell her but began to read and research about the dreaded procedure known as "vasectomy". I read pros and cons from many sources including Internet, books, college texts, and from men I knew locally that had the procedure. I was feeling better about it but still anxious that something could go wrong. After about 6 months of research and contemplation, I decided to schedule a consult with a urologist. I had the procedure after having assurances that this was a cupcake procedure with almost no chance for complications. After the procedure (which was a breeze) I was anxious to use my penis and see what differences the vasectomy would have on my sex life. Although you are suppose to wait a week or two before "getting back in the saddle", I choose to give it a quick test on day number 2. It worked just fine (I don't recommend rushing it though as I think it did delay my full healing). Laying in bed for the day or so of rest the urologist recommended gave me a lot of time to ponder my sexuality and my relationship to my penis. I actually got sad thinking of what life would have been like had something gone wrong and I couldn't have sex anymore. I though of what it would be like to be old...would it even work? This is not a discussion I have ever heard my father or grandfather have. This thinking got me to heighten my appreciation for my penis and a desire to take care of it. I began doing web searches and eventually found the PE Gym. The PE Gym was unique as it covered the overall health of the penis, not just enlargement. So many penis related sites were selling stuff but the PE Gym was giving away information. The men posting in the forums were obviously a mature and caring bunch and I witnessed example after example of men reaching out and offering support and encouragement to other men that needed uplifting. I was often shocked at the torment and teasing some men endured from peers and lovers and equally impressed by the empathy and encouragement offered by PE Gym members. I have a mental health background with considerable experience in group work and some of the support and stories here are text book of what you could get/find in a therapeutic support group. Sure there are a few goofs on the site but that adds flavor...right? With many hours of reading on the PE Gym website as a "lurker", I joined the ranks. After starting slowly in the PE world (advise from the PE elders), I began to experienced heightened sexuality and orgasms more powerful than I have ever had prior. This occurring after just weeks of stretching, jelqs, kegels, and an occasional "pee pull". It was amazing to me. During the first few months I picked up around half an inch or more in length and enjoyed a much firmer, plump flaccid penis that I was proud to whip out. My wife even made the comment that she couldn't believe what she could see and feel. It sounds like fiction but PE is very much fact. I used my penis health as a springboard for overall health. I began eating better, exercising the entire body, and began using supplements. I spend time now wondering why PE is so unknown. I imagine the biggest reason is that it takes work and time. Few men will dedicate themselves to a penis workout that is this intense or maintain the exercises long enough to see desired results. I would have stopped after the first few sessions myself had I not read so many of the posts by veteran PE'ers. Now the gains keep coming...as do I !I am super busy but carve out time for PE several times a week. It's to important not to do. I have to fit it in with a host of other activities including soccer games for the kids, managing my fantasy football team, school meetings...work. I keep a small year calendar in my nightstand drawer beside my bed. The calendar was cut from a phone book and is a cheap and accessible way to track my yearly PE work. I mark an x on each day I PE. I try to hit 3-4 days per week. Sometimes they are in a consecutive row, sometimes not. I let my schedule dictate my down days. With the rigors of family life I sometime have to PE in the morning, sometimes during a lunch break if I can make it home. I am very excited about the publishing of the Exercising the Penis book by Aaron Kemmer. I have read it and feel it is the best shot at making PE mainstream. I purchased a copy and look forward to sharing it with a close friend or two (you have to be pretty close to share that type of info). I am thrilled that penis health is a topic we can discuss and inspire research. I scoured scholarly journals for info on jelqing and PE and could find almost nothing. Unfortunately I found plenty of research on the mishaps and permanent damage that has been done by penile enlargement surgeries. What a shame that a free, safe alternative is available but yet unknown to the vast majority of men. PE is truly unmarked territory. Research hasn't been done. Kemmer is pioneering the effort with the assistance of all the fine folks reading and writing posts in these forums and on other sites. I am very pleased to be a part of this community, part of penis history! I am thrilled to be exercising my penis so I can enjoy health and sexuality in my 40's, 50's, 60's, and beyond! |

I knew you were special the first time you posted. I was reading about myself in much of what you wrote. I'm going to recommend this testimony for publishing and I'm giving you a Rep Point as it is all I have to give at the moment. Aaron will certainly be proud and I think I speak for most of here when I say Very Well Done!!
