    Hi.

    I am a young man who has been on a journey of quitting porn. I'll keep myself accountable by posting here very often.

    I now have 2 powerful porn blocking systems on my laptop. It makes it quite difficult to access porn instantly.

    Yesterday however I relapsed. Today I'm back to DAY 1

    My rationale:
    • Porn makes me temporarily obsessed with size
    • Porn destroys my EQ, especially the good EQ one gets from JP90 and kegels and edging
    • I have a girl to be romantic with now

    Good for you Anchorage.

    Keep it up, and don't get discouraged. Failure is not in the falling, but refusing to get back up and try again.

      No relapsing today

      HUUGE temptation during the afternoon, my mind was frantically thinking of ways to bypass the software.

      But I did not give in.

        Today again I had huge temptation AND I was left home alone at some point.

        I decided to deal with 'the feeling' by edging without porn for 20 minutes. Little did I realise that I would discover the largest EQ I've ever had, a sensitive member and much larger glans.

          I'm now onto DAY 3.

          It's been a challenging 2 days but with the help of the software on my laptop, and a bit of edging and continued JP90, I've been able to withstand temptation.

          In fact, having a high EQ during non-porn edging is a BIG motivation for me not to watch porn, because porn diminishes my EQ and sensitivity.

            Now onto DAY 4.


            Yesterday I had very little temptation to watch it, even though the timer for my blocker app ran out !

            I've been struggling heavily with thoughts of penis insecurity these few days. They came all of a sudden and I am just beginning to accept and release these thoughts, knowing how counterproductive they are to my health and future relationships.

            One thing I'm trying is to stop imagining other people's dicks and start focusing on the look and feel of my own, really get into touch with it. And stop thinking in 'size' and starting thinking in 'sensation'.

              Great for you over these past few days in curbing the addiction. Keep working on overcoming the insecurities and in time they will go away. They did for me but this site really cemented my confidence. Good luck Anchorage3.

                Today (day 4) I had some physical urges to watch porn. I did a session of JP90 and after it, when I had a craving for porn, I just edged for 20 minutes without porn- no ejaculation either.

                I'd say psychologically, having the powerful blocker apps on my laptop helps me control my urges.

                  Man, time flies by!

                  These days I keep reminding myself that I trust my penis, I am comfortable with it.

                  I look in the mirror at my penis and breathe in and out calmly.

                    Good for you man, best of luck to you. Couldnt agree more about the EQ improvements that come from quitting, and I think it helps social confidence too.

                    Which blocker apps are you using out of curiosity? I always like k9 web protection, but more layers of defence are always good.

                      Today, day 5, I have big temptation.

                      @daveb 21 My primary blocker is SelfControl. I put in a bunch of websites into the program and there's no way in hell I can access them.
                      For K9, I use the longest pword (15 characters) and it is not written down anywhere but in picture form, so I must type it in every time if I'm to unblock it.

                      I am home alone and even the scent of my penis is turning me on, whilst fully clothed- how weird.

                      Yesterday I read a few key articles on yourbrainonporn.com. One thing that struck me is their definition of 'porn' which even includes inner fantasies and actively seeking any material to get turned on, e.g. Facebook profiles, Youtube, day-time TV shows.

                      That has really opened my eyes and I've revealed to myself how often I 'search' for sexual arousal, like espcially when doing home fitness and in the instruction videos there are fit women with abs.

                      But edging is part of my enlargement routine, so keeping up is part and parcel of it. I've decided to edge less frequently so when I do do it, just the touch alone is enough to keep at 100% EL. I'll have to experiment how many days apart my edging needs to be to make this work.

                        Onto DAY 6

                        Yesterday I was very aroused so I did an edging session even though it was my rest day. So I'm making today a proper rest day.

                        Last night I was watching a movie on TV but I didn't realise it would come to a full-nude sex scene. Fortunately I did not MO to it, so I can let this one slide.

                          Today in day 6, there was some arousal from accidental pictures on the websites I used but no PMO.

                          I also did not edge like usual because I want to avoid overtraining.

                          One benefit I am realising is the simple ability to be entertained by American sitcoms, even episodes I've seen before! Porn does otherwise numb you to other pleasures.
