Are you still measuring shorter, HotRod? You might be need to take it a little lighter as this is a clear negative PI. It might sound crazy as you're exercising so lightly, but you wouldn't be the first!

You know what? I'm going to take this cue and take three days in a row off: today, Fri, Sat, and then resume on Sunday.

I just thought that it could be kind of a lazy erection, but I may as well take it as a negative PI. I'm very new, and the truth is I may have bumped up the time a little quickly. I went from 10 minutes to 20. So when I resume I'm thinking of bumping it down to 15.

The drive for gains is seductive and I think I may have talked myself into too much too soon.

Beginning of 4th Week

Okay.

This week's plan:

4 days PE: Sun, Tues, Wed, Fri

I'm now using water based lube.

Warm up - 10 minutes hot water bottle in bed with kegels
Basic Stretch - 30 seconds each direction/3 sets
Jelq - 20 minutes; working up to 75% EL and maintaining it. I'm using more pressure now and really feeling the pressure in the penis with each stroke. Feels good. I vary the pressure according to EL.
Kegels - 1st set is during warm up and may be shorter than the guidelines that follow. Then 3 more sets throughout the day as follows:
*20 one second reps
*20 three second reps
*20 ten second reps
*10 kegel slam
*Stop urine midstream several times each day.
Jai Stretches - 10 reps or so everytime I use the bathroom

I'm going for measurable gains by April 1st.

Quick note:

I did measure again and I remain at my Feb 9, 2008 starting stats.

I had another one of those sterling erections this morning though. I should start measuring those when they happen. They appear bigger, but I don't know if they actually are or if it's just that I'm laying down on my back when they happen.

NOTE:

I took today off.

I will be resuming with a reduced intensity plan.

Instead of 20 minutes of jelqing I'm stepping back to 10 minutes. This is due to one potential negative PI: 1/16" loss of length measured last week.

I have also improved my jelq technique considerably since my first couple weeks of PE. This equates to an increased intensity in itself.

So after today, I will have rested for two consecutive days and will resume tomorrow with the 10 minute jelq plan, every other day workouts for two weeks.

I think this will help stabilize my routine and get it to a point where I'm not having to change it so often. I expect that this all means I could have got a better start on PE.

I'm trying to be patient.

Positive PI?: Yesterday I masturbated after work, and gee, my erection felt very hard. I can't say that it's bigger, but it just seemed to feel harder and had more texture, more of a ribbed feel. What a strange and complex implement is the penis!

I'll continue to note these subtle things. At some point it may become more evident whether they are PIs, and not just anomalies.

Today I resumed PE after two days off, and I'm only doing 10 minutes jelqing. (See my most previous post for amendments to my routine.)

It felt good and really left me with about the same effect as 20 minutes, so I'm feeling pretty good about this time reduction. I'm going to plan to stick with this through the month of March. I just think I need to be working some self-restraint into my plan rather than plotting out increases right now. I tend to get impatient.

ASSESSMENT

I'm posting this as sort of a reality check for myself.

I'm coming up on the end of my 4th week of PE, and thought this might be a good time to keep this in perspective.

I'm still very new at this. My first couple of weeks were very light and really focused on getting a technique down. I believe the exercises I did were as effective as they needed to be at that time. This was the first time in 40 years that I had that sort of stimulation in those tissues. So it's good that it was very light and experimental. I think I discovered that the tissues are actually more durable than I imagined, but that there is a fine line between adequate training and overdoing it. I also came face to face with my own impatience this past week. It sort of happened right under my nose.

I ended up with a situation where I had a rapidly compounding increase in intensity. The leap from 10 minutes to 20 minutes of jelqing coupled with the fact that I had increased the erection level, increased jelq pressure, AND vastly improved my technique by trimming my pubic hair, finding a better lubricant (now water based), finding a rhythm and a reliable grip, all meant that I could be risking overtraining. This was tipped off by an apparent loss of 1/16" BPEL. Not much, and I know some guys here thought maybe Remek and I were overreacting, but I decided to go conservative and look around at other elements in my program that had changed.

Patience is going to be key for me. I've decided to stay with no more than 10 minutes jelqing every other day for a while. I'm always encouraged by reports that some guys see significant gains after 6 weeks, but I also want to be conservative in how I'm interpreting this self-reporting. I don't want to model or measure my own success after somebody else's spectacle. There are too many variables involved in individual cases: everything from personality, technique, consistency of measuring methods, and physiology.

So if I see gains by April, GREAT! Mainly I'm going to be watching for positive PIs and just keeping on a regular schedule for a while. I think it's reasonable that my first few weeks of PE have been devoted to finding out if I could even adhere to a schedule, learning something about my physiology, understanding good technique, and getting a feel for my own personality as relates to PE.

EQ Report

The penis is weird.

Yesterday I masturbated. At peak, I was incredibly hard.

I think this constitutes a positive PI. It just seemed a little unusual. But it's hard to be sure about these things. There 's naturally so much variability in the penis. I'm just making notes here so I can come back a few months from now and have a record of these things. So no celebrations just yet.

Also, as I was approaching orgasm, my penis almost seemed to take on the dreaded baseball bat appearance. It seemed slightly wider at the end and narrower at the base. But no need for alarm. My penis has always had an asymetrical shape. Looking down at the top it does seem to get wider at about the circ scar. But it's also flatter/more eliptical here. Closer to the base it's rounder and so it appears to be narrower, but in reality I think there is just as much tissue volume.

So it's hard to tell exactly what's going on, but I think I have enough EQ data since I began PE to say that my erections are PROBABLY changing for the better.

NOTE: I'm continuing with the 10 minute jelqing every other day for a while. No increases plotted just yet. My short range goal is good solid conditioning.

I can relate, mine is the exact same way. I have slightly more girth at the circ scar than mid-shaft but it's flatter and more elliptical there too.
Mine is definitely from jelqing. It wasn't always that way.

Mine is definitely from jelqing. It wasn't always that way.

I'm thinking I might start considering some reverse jelqs and other exercises to try to go for the shape I want. I'll see how this goes. I really want to avoid the baseball bat look.

No supplements specifically for PE. I eat pretty well, drink a hemp protein shake and take a high quality multiple vitamin.
