I have resumed my routine after two weeks recovery from a vasectomy. The tenderness has subsided and I started today with a gentle PE routine based on the beginners routine:
10 minute warm-up
6 minutes of basic stretching
10 minutes of jelqing (Remember to jelq in three second strokes.)
I will be PEing Saturday, Tuesday, Thursday first thing in the AM for two weeks. I'll be experimenting with erection % and pressure during that time trying to find comfortable levels based on Physiologic Indicators.
After two weeks, I'm going to assess PIs, and start increasing intensity slightly and planning the next couple weeks.
I'll do Kegels on PE days during warmup, and also at various stationary times throughout the day. I'd like to get three sets of basic gripping in during the day, no more than 5 minutes each to start.
I'll be measuring every Saturday morning. Notes: * First of all, I measured again, this time standing, looking at porn, stroking, legs a little better than shoulder width, penis straight out, and using a transparent plastic ruler laying across the top of the penis pressed firmly into the pubic bone where the penis meets the body. I used a sewing tape to measure girth. I did this to get as controlled and replicable measuring conditions as possible.
So my starting stats have changed a little. Thus the importance of standardizing a measuring practice...
6.6875 BPEL X 4.5 EG
(Formerly I had stated my starting stats at 6.0 X 4.5, but that was with all done with a sewing tape.)
The plastice ruler I'm using has a blank spot before the zero. The blank spot measures 3/16 (.1875) inch, so I had to add that on to the measurement of 6.5.
My new goal is: 7.6875 BPEL X 5.5 EG - an inch in each direction. * I warmed up with a hot water bottle. I used about 2 cups of water, squeezed all the air out, and corked the bottle so it was thin enough that I could wrap it around my penis. I did this on my back while I did a series of Kegels. I kept an eye on a watch. * I stretched VERY gently in the following order, 30 seconds each position, resting between directions for a few seconds: Up, straight out, down, left, right. This order was just more intuitive for me. * I started jelquing from the perineum, pushing from behind the testicles. This gradually caused my penis to become partially engorged without becoming too aroused. I have this idea that the spongiosum and cavernosum that extends into the body may actually be a neglected area of PE. So I figured it couldn't hurt to give that area a gentle massage to start out and to gradually work into a standard jelq. I spent maybe 3 minutes on that and then 10 minutes standard jelq trying to maintain about 50%-75% erection. Yikes! At one point I wanted to experiment with more of an erection. So I massaged my glans a little and got up to about 80% erect. YOUWCH! I jequed too hard once by mistake and that was a very unpleasant sensation. Very intense. So I backed off. Lightend my grip a little and let the erection subside a little. Moral of the story: If you become more aroused during jelquing be prepared to lighten your grip accordingly or you could hurt yourself. More pressure is tolerable at lower levels of erection. |

| O.K. Here is a tip that will help you keep track of gains.
Go to a hobby shop, a hardware store, anywhere where you can purchase a round, 3/8" dowel. Mine is 30" long. Press the end of the round dowel into the hollow just at the top of your shaft, against the pubic bone. (This measurement will never change, even if you gain or lose weight.) When you are fully erected, take a fine tipped felt marking pen and mark at the very tip of your penis on the dowel. Very carefully draw the line all around the dowel. Measure from the end you pressed into the pubic bone to the mark and this will give you a true and accurate Bone Pressed measurement. The reason I kept the 30" length is because it is easy to work with, easy to keep track of (I just stand mine up in the corner by the toilet)
and this will give you a permenant record of your gains. When I first started PE. I used this way of measuring and have marks in 1/4" increments from 4 3/4" up to and including 8 3/4". This was my last mark. I am not hitting that mark now, but I did at one time. I call this "Tool" my 'story pole', as this is a way to refer back to your progress. I look at this 'stick' and am amazed at how far I've come. Try this. This is almost like keeping a journal. JP

So you gained up to 4 inches in length at one point?!
This is a amazing to me to read these reports of gains. I'm only hoping for an inch in length and an inch in girth. That would make me very happy.
I can't wait to see where this goes. The 30" length for the dowel is probably a good idea!

Same basic routine as scheduled +
I experimented with a couple two handed grips during jelqing which I found interesting, but didn't spend a lot of time with:
a. pinching the penis between all finger tips with the pressure concentrated on the cavernosa
b. Pancaking - index an middle fingers both hands, one on top one on bottom, has a flattening effect.
No PIs to speak of except for a fuller longer flaccid state. A little itching for a few minutes afterward. I'm using latex gloves because I don't want the oil on my hands. I might decide to switch to a fragrance free oil.
I was really tired this morning - do my routines first thing. It's more difficult to become erect when groggy which probably works in my favor.
I went a little longer than 10 minutes today. It just felt good so I stayed with it.

I'm just getting my early sessions logged here and will eventually just be posting significant notes. Right now everything seems significant
Standard beginner routine again today.
REALLY tired this morning. My routines are forcing me out of bed earlier. No lingering or snoozing which is good for me.
1st thing AM PE allows me to wash up in the shower and also get many hours of rest before I masturbate or have any other sexual activity.
I am continuing to do perineum jelqs at intervals throughout my standard jelq session - when the erection level starts to fall, or just for the hell of it for variation. I also end my jelq session with several perineum jelqs alternating hands, feeling around, trying to get familiar with the anatomy down there.
The perineum jelqs seem to engorge the entire penis very nicely. I'm enjoying them.
No PIs to speak of except a very full flaccid penis at the end.
I'm thinking I'm probably in pretty good shape and will look at adding a day of routine next week and maybe a few more minutes of jelqing. I'd like to start feeling the mild fatigue factor others have talked about.

I think your log should be mandatory reading for all newbies. You are an excellent example on how you should start a PE program off.
Most guys just read enough to get confused and then start off with a bang. They do everything wrong and then try to figure out why
they aren't gaining.
You however, have a set plan in mind and are testing the water to see what works for you. Monitoring your body's response is also a
great practice.
This is a great example of how it should be done. If you don't see gains I will eat my socks!

Rep Power: 3  | After one week: no measurable gains.
I had an erection about midweek that I was fairly impressed with. It didn't last, but it was rounder and shinier than usual. It was during a first thing AM masturbation session. CHANGES TO ROUTINE:
My body handled the first week beginner routine pretty well. I know I can do a little more, so today I am making the following changes:
* 5-10 minute warm up with Kegels in the background per usual
* Stretches: basic stretch all directions 30 seconds with a little more pull; three sets
* Jelq: basic jelq with occasional perineum jelq 20 minutes
* Close with stroking to full erection.
I'm also going to move to an every other day routine: Sat(today), Mon, Wed, Fri - I might take Sat and Sun off next week. AFTER TODAY'S ROUTINE (4th session): Stretches definitely left me with a longer flaccid hang today and I pulled a little harder just to the point of feeling a definite pull throughout the penis. This is a principle I learned from stretching and yoga. The pull can feel tight, but shouldn't approach pain. I found this to be easier to do with the penis than with my hamstrings. Jelqs: jelqing has yet to become a strict method. I'm always experimenting with the grip and the erection level. There's a certain stage of erection where I begin feeling a tightness in my penis. I try to keep the erection below that stage during jelqing. I did however try jelqing ever so lightly with a full erection to see what it felt like. It just didn't work and was sort of scary. I used the perineum jelq to pump more blood into the penis whenever I would start to get a little too flaccid. PIs: For the first time, I felt a very slight tingling sensation after I sat down for a couple minutes following my session. That was about 10 minutes ago. I can't tell if I feel anything different at the moment. My penis resumed a normal flaccid length though it might be a little fuller than usual.
