Had been thinking about doing this for awhile, but between having a live in girlfriend and just not sure I believed it would work I never did. Well, the bitch is gone now so I don't have to worry about that one anymore . Plus this seems to be growing in popularity so I figure I'll give it a shot. I started on 6/30/08, did stretches, jelqs, and kegels. Wasn't paying attention and did more stretches than I probably should have and man did my unit tingle all day the next day and part of the day after! Was a little scared because I could only get a very weak erection too. After 3 days he was back to normal and I did a bunch of kegels on my drive to work and then did only 6 mins of stretches later (I probably did about 20 mins first time) and about 12 mins of jelqs. Oh yeah, for warm ups I was just using a hot washcloth which doesn't stay hot nearly long enough. Going to have to invest in some rice I suppose and try the rice sock idea. Struggling on the right lube for Jelqs. First time I used KY Touch Masage lubricant. Worked alright at first but got uncomfortable raw feeling about half way in. Next time I started with some lotion which worked excellent until it started drying out. Tried switching to KY over that but it wasn't quite right. Tried damping him down with the washcloth which worked temporarily, but kept drying out every 30 seconds still. So anyways, definitely going to start off slow, don't need injuries and not terribly unhappy with my unit anyways. One thing I have noticed already, the kegels have definitely already made it easier keeping a nice solid erection (I'm 35, he's started getting tempermental). I even woke up with morning wood a few days in a row and that has been a very rare occurence for probably 3 years now I woud guess. So even that alone is worth keeping up with the kegels.

Ok, here's my starts, nothing impressive but it's always gotten the job done, and I'm probably lucky to have that considering I'm short.

Not many posting pics, but I guess I will. I need to invest in a clear ruler, so I'll put up one shot with, one without.
FYI ruler has 1/8" starter, that's why measurement is different from picture.

Somehow that looks like more than 6.625" BPEL. I would have guessed it was almost 7", NBP! My EL is only about .25" less than yours (after more than two months of PE), but it just looks so much smaller than that to me. Weird. Maybe cameras do funny things? I'm tempted to go out and buy a digital camera, trim my unit, and snap a shot at full woodie just to see what it looks like on camera.

Yeah, he looks bigger in the picture I think too. I had been doing something like ULI's right before that too, squeezing base and doing low intensity kegels and watching the head balloon up a little, was scared to go too far with that though he was really getting swollen! So he was probably more erect than natural even in that one picture. But like I said, the other thing is that I'm short, 5'6", so my hands are on the small side and those are the only things for perspective in the picture really. I remeasured today for the hell of it and my BPEL is more or less the same, I did my NBPEL though this time, that was 6.125". Then I took a couple measurements on the shaft, at very base EG was 5.125", toward top before it tapers to head EG was 4.75". So wherever I measured initially was somewhere in between. Guess I need to track both of those. You can't see the width difference from the top, but from the side it is more noticeable since it's the underside that has the extra girth at the base apprarently. Oh and trimming definitely gives you more of a confidence booster, I started a number of years back because I get hair about 1.5" up on the shaft and it's very annoying during sex. But it does make your unit look bigger! That and I'm guessing Jelqs are probably easier to perform without the hair getting in the way, I might trim mine even further back actually.

Did my third workout of the week today. Wondering what peoples take is on masturbation? Seemed like the survey results said those who masturbated less got more gains? But then it seemed like another thing said it didn't have any effect if wasn't too close to your PE session? Well, I couldn't help it today, started PE and he ballooned up full so I just took care of it. Then did about 5 mins of Kegels (will do more later I'm guessing), 8 mins of stretches, and about 20 mins of Jelqs. The Jelqs were a bit tough since he was reluctant to balloon up much after masturbation. Ended up alernating Jelqs and Compressors because the Compressors seemed to help me keep him between 50% and 75%. Was a good feeling, went liberal on the KY and the burn was less anyways, probably still need to try something else though. On a side note, have any of the big gainers put up pics? Would like to see the end result still even if you can't see the before. Wondering what the health looks like too kind of..

The best Jelqing lube I have found is; J & J Baby Oil Gel. You can get it with Aloh or comes in several different things. Try it.

Decided to do weekly log updates rather than every time I do a session. Has been going well, have been trying to stick with around 8 mins stretching and 20 mins jelqing/compressors, and kegels I just do when I feel like the muscle is fully rested, which tends to be every other day. The stretches and jelqs I've been taking 2 days off in between. That's about how long it takes for him to seem like he's recovered and gets the *full* wood going. I'm definitely noticing a different feeling in the flaccid state, he seems to feel fuller and hangs lower more often than he used to. Will usually wake up with morning wood still when it's time to do the routine again (i.e. he's recovered and ready for more). I remeasured the other night and it almost seemed like maybe my BPEL was up an 1/8", but maybe I was just pushing harder with the ruler this time, I mean it's only been about 2 weeks now. I liked the dowel idea, might need to invest in one of those, seems like a wider dowel would give more consistent BPEL measurements.

By the way, thanks for the lube suggestion JonPop, wayyyy better than what I was using. One application lasted all 20 mins of wet jelqs last night and was very consistent. What do you use for your warm up? I forgot to buy rice so I haven't been doing the rice sock like I planned, in fact I've just been kind of using my hands a bit for the warm up and very little at that. Not sure if it's been a problem, but maybe if I did he would recover faster?

Get your self a 1 pound bag of rice. Take an old sock and fill it up with enough room left to tie a knot in the end. Warm this in the microwave for 1:10 let it cool some. You'll be able to judge when it is the right temp to wrap your unit with, sometimes you have to take it back off quick as it is still too hot. I use this exclusively as my warm up, unless I'm taking a hot bath for water pumping. This rice sock, gives a very deep heat warm up and usually is good for about a 10 minute warm up.
