But, doesn't it just seem easier? Aristotle talks about the "Final End" the purpose which has no means for another purpose - for Aristotle that purpose is the meaning of life, but for our purposes it works.
Dating as an adult is just a means to an end, to start a relationship (for me at least) - but how much do you really learn about someone before entering into a relationship, don't you get to know someone while your mutually exclusive more so than when you were on dates, and don't they generally seem to be quite a bit different? (good or bad)
This will be a sociological experiment at the very least!
