Was my girlfriend a SLUT? need some opinions!

I have know this girl for maybe....2 years almost and well i barely started going out with her two months ago. Ill tell you a little bit about her life. She gave birth when she was 20 yrs old and well before that she was with that one guy for the majority of her teenage life and she hadnt been with anyone else before she had the kid. However, she claims to have had sex with 5 ppl total, so im guessing she had 4 other ppl since ive known her. She is 24 right now and im sure she didnt have sex the first year after giving birth. So in a 3 yrs span is having sex with 4 ppl slutty? figuring that i dk if she is even telling me the truth. What you guys think?


p.s. After talking to her for a yr, she went to this event and met this guy, I found out she dated this one guy and had sex with him 5 times, so she say, but she was sorta still keeping in touch with me and having sex with me! i found out from some pictures i saw with her and the guy. We werent going out and well i was talking kinda to some girls. i confronted her about it many times and she lied saying she only have had sex with me since she started talking to me. i showed her the pics and she cried and said sorry. Should i trust her?

If one of your buddies had sex with 5 girls in his life would you consider him a player? See if you look at it from the opposite perspective, it's almost offensive to think of her as being a slut for being with an number of guys you can count on one hand. I wouldn't sweat it. If she's a good girl you will know, give her a few dates and see how it goes.

thanks for the reply. well shes my girlfriend now. i decided to put the issue of the past aside and just start a new beginning with her. the thing is it still bugs me and gets in my mind of what she did. it makes sense what you say and i am no one to be calling her a slut. i just dont want to go through any situations again anymore.

I would express your concern to her directly honestly. Explain to her that you are looking for something serious (it sounds like you are or you wouldn't care so much) and talk to her about her loyalty expectations and if she feels that it will be difficult to stay monogamous. It sounds like an iffy topic but to be honest, most girls will be appreciative. Also, if the GUY is the one who ditched her when she got pregnant and not the other way around, shes probably dying for a man to tell her they want to be exclusive with her. She probably has some abandonment issues that you could help her resolve by having a relaxed talk, also, keep alcohol out of it for something like this.
