| Mr Yeap had a harrowing journey to the castle. Even in the dark of night, he had to hide many times to avoid the roving bands of rogue Knights. In the over 30 kilometers he had to travel by foot, he had seen many, many farms and fields laid waste and many bodies still lying where they had fallen.
Even at the walls of the city he was afraid to call out, for fear that he would be seen. He spotted a guard on the wall, picked up a rock and threw it, striking just below where the guard was standing. The guard peered into the darkness and said, "Who is there?"
Mr Yeap, trying not to talk louder than he had to, said, "It is I, John Yeap, from the Yeap farms. I must speak with the King." The guard said, "How do I know it is you and not a trap?"
Mr Yeap decided at great risk to himself, that he would light a handful of dried grass to illuminate his face.
The King was very sorry to hear about the death of Mr. Yeaps sons and although he knew that the supplies from outside the city walls had dwindled in the last few weeks, he was shocked to hear the reason. It had been days since the King had sent patrols to scout out the enemy and he halted these, when they didn't return.
Prince Robert was being tutored by Sir Sonic. He was very bright, listened and put into practice what he was learning. He had moved far ahead of all in his class and had surprised even Sir Sonic, with his skill.
The three weeks of training had eliminated a great portion of the young trainees, these men were sent to the Captain of the archers to be taught the ways of the bow.
There were surprisingly, over 100 men still learning the skills that would enable them to become Knights.
King Robert made an announced visit to the compound to meet with the Knights. The trainees stood in perfect formation, with the Knights standing at attention in front. All were in their armor and made a great impression on the King.
The King spoke in a voice loud enough to be heard by all and said, "I have grave news. The supplies from our province have been stopped by Chung. The people in this city are demanding to know when they will be able to receive food.
I have brought a former Knight, Mr. Yeap before you to tell you something he observed as he watched his two sons killed by Chungs Knights. Please Mr. Yeap, speak loudly so that all may hear."

| Mr. Yeap looked over the assembled young men resplendent in their new armor and could feel a lump forming in his throat. He choked this back and said, "My Sons were the age that the most of you are now, I had great hopes that one day they would be standing proud, as you are now, training to become Knights for the Kingdom of Robert, but alas my young champions, the evil Chung has robbed me and my Sons of our dream. This said, I will now address the Knights from the far world.
Sir JonPop, Sir Remek and your champion, Sir Sonic, indeed all of you before me, your names have spread throughout the lands of the Kingdom of Robert. The tales you have told these young men and your adventures are now fabled stories. This has not escaped the notice of Chung and he has prepared a mighty horde to do battle.
We have on the World of Nib, a creature called, the Lion Raptor. This creature is devious and cunning. It hunts in threes and Chung has adopted this tactic. I observed this first hand at the Yeap Farms,.
I think that Chung was waiting for the right opportunity to use this.
My Sons had been practice jousting and were in full armor when his Knights struck.
My Sons were probably at the stage of training that all of these fine young men are now. They managed to kill two of Chungs Knights with their lance when they were struck from both sides by two other Knights and felled to the ground. I only saw the six Knights as I think Chung was observing this tactic. They were then, beaten to death, unmercifully.
Chung, now has many, many mounted Knights and my belief is that he would gladly trade one Knight killed to defeat each of you. I do not believe however, that his Knights are anywhere near the caliber of men I see before me, as my Sons easily defeated the opponent facing them and would have been able to defeat the others as well had they not been blind sided. I bring you this observation so that you might plan a way to counter this. God bless the Kingdom of Robert, and all of you here, that you might prevail."

| The Knights from Earth had learned a trick or two and decided to test the Knights of Chung, first hand.
King Robert was anxious to learn the fate of his surrounding farms and small hamlets and approved the Knights plans.
In the training arena, they had simulated Chungs tactics using their battle square.
When a student Knight would charge at them from the front, they would stop and turn in all four directions.
No one attacking from either side was able to get through.
The Knights from Earth, felt that the students weren't quite ready yet, as their armor had no protection from the arrows of Chungs archers and decided that they would go on a probing mission alone, to test their new tactic.
This was to be an early morning expedition, while the sun was at their backs.
The Knights had not traveled more than three kilometers when they came to the first of the ravaged farms.
The early morning sun cast eerie shadows over the burnt landscape and what remained of farm houses and outbuildings. The wind was still and there were no sounds. They could smell the unmistakable odor of death as they got closer.
The Knights looked at each other and nodded, all felt the presence of something about to happen.
