That's alright. Viagra helps with maintaining erection once you are aroused.
It helps generate more Nitrous Oxide in the Penile tissue which keeps the erection going. If you take L-Arginine with it as well, you will see further benefit because arginine is an Amino acid which in involved in the reactions leading to the production of Nitrous Oxide in the Penis which causes further dilatation of blood spaces hence keeping the erection hard.

Arginine and Viagra and cialis do not increase libido and do not cause sexual arousal themselves but once arousal occurs it keeps it going longer. I personally would think that during the times you are doing PE, stronger erections during sex will keep your gains and consolidate the gains if not add to it. To me it is almost clear in my mind that PE without periods of good erections such as during sex or morning erections, gains will not be consolidatedwell. At the end of the day it is the erection in which you want to see the results; else results will only be profound in flaccid states. It would be just like building your cardiovascular and breathing fitness for jogging without doing jogging itself. You must put the system into actual practice while improving it with exercises. I hope it makes sense.

As regards side effects such as visual disturbances you need to be aware of this danger but not fear it because of the following reasons.

1- It is a very occasional side effect. It affects only a very small minority, otherwise drug would have been withdrawn from the market in accordance with the regulations of the pharmaceutical regulation bodies.

2- Visual problems are not related to the mechanism of the drug but certain individuals for unknown reason will be vulnerable to this side effect. Those vulnerable will start to have some sort of visual disturbance in the initial few months of the treatment. If one has used it for some time without any problems than the chances of problems occurring later will be lesser.

3- High risk drugs are kept under more strict control than Viagra, Cialis and other similar drugs have been subject to.

4- Blindness does not occur suddenly. There are clear visual problems for sometime, during which if you are aware of the risk you will seek medical advice.

5- Initial symptoms of visual problems if occur are very likely to be reversible in early stages if treatment is withdrawn.

Comparing to many medications which are used in clinical practice, viagra and cialis are relatively safe.

I have used in the past Cialis just to enhance pleasure. I may still use it on and off. It is just because I do not want my system to become dependent on it, so I have not been using it regularly. If one has ongoing Erectile Dysfunction then you have to use it regularly. I am weighing the pros and cons of combining it with PE but I have not decided yet. Most probably I will introduce it later into my PE so as to maximize benefits rather than starting every thing all together. Slow and steady is the key to success when it comes to PE, as far as I understand.

After initial gains when I start to see that I am reaching a state of plateau, I plan to add L-arginine and then Cialis as well. Body tissues need time to grow you can not push by taking a lot of pills and a lot of exercise in a short period of time. By the way I have started to use multi-vitamins and minerals together with light general exercise. Amino acids and protein supplements will be added as the intensity of PE and general exercise increases. Then Arginine, Gingsing, Ginko and later may be Cialis will be added..

Major difference between Viagra and Cialis is that Cialis is slow to act and lasts longer in your body; more than a day sometimes two days. Hence you do not have to plan a lot. You are ready whenever action is required. However as Viagra is suiting you, as I understand, it will be wiser to continue on it rather than trying Cialis, which may or may not suit you. Having said that, you can choose what pros and cons you are willing to take for yourself.

I hope I have been of any help. I have learned a lot from your experience and from this site and I am always eager to contribute to whatever is within my knowledge and experience.

soody,
In the last 6 months I have been taking 1500 mg a day of L-Arginine as a supplement. Also Amino acids are taken 3 times a day.

Yea, there's no doubt that few drugs work perfectly, and Viagra is no exception. . .

Dusty,
I think you are taking a good combination which is good for penile and other muscles and penile circulation. If you have taken Viagra for 6 months with no side effect, to the best of my knowledge and information you need not worry about the side effects and continue Viagra particularly if you think you need it. If as a remote possibility you found anything a miss you can seek advice.

If I remember correctly you are above fifty years of age like me. Do not overload yourself with minerals but Zinc, Copper and Iron directly and indirectly help with the processes involved in sexual health. Omega 3 and Vitamin C can help blood vessels to maintain suppleness and elasticity which they tend to loose with age. Elasticity of penile tissue including it blood vessels, to my understanding is very likely to be one of the major factors involved in gains with PE or regular sex.

Taking more arginine and amino acids than what you are taking will be of no benefit. Three times a day is very good but twice a day would not be bad either when you are eating healthy anyway.
