Rep Power: 8 | Movie Mania Well after Flight 93 and the story about what happened on 9-11 on Flight 93, they now are releasing a movie titled, World Trade Center. This is a story about the people trapped in the towers, fire fighters and the people who risk their lives to be a hero on 9-11. I think it's going to be a very moving movie just like Flight 93 |

I was stationed in Germany in November 1963 when President John Kennedy was shot and that had quite affect on all of us guy there. At that time there was an increase in the armed forces after that happened.
Everyone over there was afraid that the Germans would pull something stuppid. We had to go on a 48 hour alert, everyone that was on leave or on pass had to return to there Base.

I was in communications and worked on a Missile Base. We were put on full alert for 48 hrs with missiles at ready. In otherwords ready to fire at a moments notice.

Were these missles nukes? | Remek, These missiles were stationed in four diferent missile sites, armed and hot with nukes. I can remember one time before they were armed, someone or something caused the missile to launch and fire by mistake from one of the missile batteries. There wasn't any real damage that was done to a German farmers field, good thing it wasn't armed with a nuke. The missiles that we had control over were called Ajax missiles.

Speaking of nukes, have you guys heard the latest update on North Korea? Things are getting hot and heavy over there. |
