Womans sexuality is a mystery for me and it will be for many years to come. I have always wondered why women( especially young ones) are so fickle (do not know if it is the right word to use) in their behaviour etc. It changes day by day sometimes by hour. Of course everyone is unique and it depends on each person. In my case there are girls that sometimes behave bit weird in my presence. One day they flirt with me and almost undress me with their eyes, seek for physical contact, but sometimes they are cold as ice and barely notice my presence. Sometimes I walk down the street and elder women (I am 24) that come towards me change their stance. As if their body language says 'hey handsome I have noticed you and I want you'. I am almost sure it is because of their menstrual cycle. I might be totaly wrong but that is why I ask for your opinion.
Dear girls of Pegym! How exactly menstrual cycle affects your sexuality. What are your observations. Your toughts, dreams, how your senses change. Your prefferences in foreplay intercourse actually everyting that is on your mind. I am very open when it comes to topics of sexuality etc. I find it very interesting and share my toughts and my own experience. Over last couple of years I have learnt so much about myself. It is fascinating. I have tried to talk on this topic with some of my female friends but it dies almost instantly. Most of us can only guess but you know yourself the best. So your views are the most valuable. I would be grateful if you share your own experience on this topic.

I can't speak for every other woman but while being on my menstrual the last thing on my mind is sex. I had my cousin back in highschool says she be horny because the fact she can't have sex even if she wanted to makes her horny. So basically what she can't have she wants type of thing. All I think about when I'm menstruating is I can't wait to I get off! And I don't experience the pms attitude majority of female claim to have, I am the complete opposite, extra nice. I am more soft and sensual and want to just cuddle and understanding. And if sex is brought up I'm grossed out at the moment and make that eww face

I was talking not only about menstrual(bleeding) period of cycle but also fertile period and other periods. Whole 28 days. Like you said that you like to cuddle and no sex during menstrual days. Do you notice any changes in your body on different days/periods? Or is it just gamble? What affects you?

O, ok...I'm in whatever mood the environment projects to me then. That randomness your talking bout your experiencing sounds like they are crazy because I don't see how they can be flirtatious and the next day giving you the cold shoulder. Unless they like you and inviting you to come talk to them and you ignore them and then the next they like f$&! you then! Because even as a female I experience that from some females as well. One moment they are in my face and so friendly and talking and the next minute they act like I'm not their for no reason! maybe bipolar idk.... I just consider them crazy or Just phony and move on, no need to lose sleep over them. Society always gives a female a reason why they act that way and it's always hormones is the culprit but if I'm in a bad mood or extra clingy, it's because someone put me in that mood, not a darn hormone

I do think hormones play a role in both emotions sometimes and sexual appetite during a cycle (for instance, during ovulation, a woman might be more interested in sex...mother nature wants to make a baby you know) - that said, the individual's own personality shines through too despite what their body is doing. As far as what you're noticing...I'm not sure I'd point fingers to where their cycle is at, but who knows. I'm not an expert when it comes to cycles and phermones and all that jazz. I do know my menstrual cycle doesn't affect me a whole lot when it comes to my sexualality. I'm pretty sexual all the time. Even during a period....I'll either still want to please my husband in other ways...and I can still enjoy myself. (clit cum only to be completely blunt). But, I would give just about anything to get rid of the monthly inconvenience! Errr. haha.

Generally, women are supposed to be hornier during ovulation (halfway between menstrual cycles) until the onset of the next cycle. This means that most women are less horny right after their period. Some women are horny during their period, but that is supposed to taper off towards the end. Really, it is all very hard to generalize as people just get turned on differently at different times.

Hormones deffinitely play a role in when a woman is horny, and this is no different for men. Men get hornier when testosterone levels are up. Hormones aren't the only deciding factor, but they are important. Men follow a similar process, and tend to be hornier earlier in the day. Also, hormonal changes lead to an increase in libido about 6 hours after orgasm, so you can spend the day after having sex wanting more sex. This process tapers off when a guy has a break from orgasms for a while.
