Hey everybody,

First of all, I would like to say that I am new to this forum and excited to be apart of it.
Now on to the issue at hand. I met a girl about a month ago, a fine one at that, on Myspace. She's an aspiring model and actress, and I'm sure she'll hit it big. I sent her my number, and a couple week later, she sent me a comment saying, "I want to call you, but I didn't know how u would respond". So we sent text messages back and forth, we were really liking each other, or so I thought. She even wanted to know where I lived so she could "say hi whenever she's near by". A couple days after a job interview I had, she's was saying that she's been working overtime and trying to move out of her ex's house, don't know exactly why she lives there though. But anyway, it seems likes she's been secretive.
Last week, told her that I had a crush on her, she replied "no problem, but I'm not looking for relationships, just nsa". Now she tells me she not a "phone person", and that was just after she said that she'll call me that very night, she didn't. My friends are also telling me not to believe her. Are they Right? They are also saying that she's still fucking her ex. The thing that's frustrating me is why wouldn't she tell me? She says that she likes my attitude about sex, so there's no reason she should not tell me. I recently deleted her from my friend's list until she's ready to talk.
So my question is, is she lying to me about the ex-boyfriend situation? If she is, then why? I really like this girl, but she's pissing me off.

You may want to listen to your friends here. But first ask yourself this: If your friend was telling you the same story, but he experienced it rather than you, would you tell him to back off?

Welcome to the forum first off. I would say that this is a clear case of her not knowing what the hell she wants and in fact, I think she's even playing games. She said she's not a phone person, which is possible because my gf isn't a phone person either, rather a texter. Anyway, she said SHE would call you later that evening but didn't. You also told her you had a crush on her and her response was "no problem but I'm not looking for a relationship right now, just nsa". This tells me she thinks she's all that and a bag of freakin' chips, which she may very well be, but when a guy tells a girl he has a crush on her and her response is a very non chalant, whimsicle, "oh, haha, no problem, thanks" sort of thing, she's totally full of herself. AND, by you deleting her from your "friends" list on your myspace, she probably took that as "oh well buddy, your loss cause I'm hot and can get ANY guy I want".

Bro, unless you want to be used up one side and down the other by this chick who is clearly interested in playing games and leading you around by the nose more than she is actually being a "friend" to you, I say move on to someone else who would actually WANT to spend time with you.

Pegasus, Yes, we met in person on a movie set.

MrBigDick, I don't even know if she knows yet; I'm not on her top friends list and she has about 775 friends. I think she's playing games too. When we were at the movie set together, and it was time to go, she offered me not only a ride home, but also to pay for dinner! Her and some of her friends agreed to go out to dinner that night, and she invited me to tag along. I declined at first, but later I chose to go with her, but in return I would take her out and pay for everything. But on the way home, she told me that she couldn't because there would be no way for me get back home. And by the way, I own a bicycle, and she knew. That's how I got to the set in the first place. I think she didn't want to take me to dinner anyway, and was actually trying to feel me out.
I know that it's improper etiquette to let a girl pay for everything on the first date, and that's why I refused when she asked me. But when she told me "Well, it's your choice", I accepted only if we could go out and I pay for everything. I wasn't thinking straight.

She sounds like she's very young and very immature. Why wouldn't she be straight-forward with you? Because, that's just how some women operate. Ever heard that expression "she's just not that into you"?? If she REALLY liked you, trust me, you'd know it because women have ways of letting a guy know she's into them.
