    If you are like me and tend to do these exercise a little more intense than recommended, L-Glutamine will be your best friend. L-Glutamine is the amino acid that aids in protein synthesis, aka. repairing tissue damage. It is sold as a workout recovery supplement, and since these are workouts, this supplement can be a huge benefit.

    In the past the day after my workouts my penis would be a little sore. Not painfully so, but like any post workout soreness. I finally wised up and started using 5g of Glutamine powder before the workout and before bed (I workout in the evenings). The day after I worked out using Glutamine I experienced 0 soreness. I am about at the end of my 5 week cycle, but once I take the before/after measurements of the cycle without Glutamine (until the end), cement, then do another cycle with the Glutamine, I will post the results to see if the Glutamine actually sped up the process.

    Not to plug any products, but the 1kg tub of bodybuilding.com’s own brand of Glutamine is the cheapest I’ve been able to find.
