Traction Wrapping 101

Traction wrapping is stretching the penis out and wrapping it comfortably to prevent retraction. Learn how traction wrapping after your penis exercises can help you achieve more penis growth, faster.

Traction wrapping is a widely accepted penis growth maintenance procedure, and it is one of the best ways to prevent “turtling,” or penis retraction, after male enhancement exercises.  A long lost member here used to have a saying that has become somewhat of a penis enlargement mantra: “Never let it turtle.” The concept is simple: keep your penis in an extended state for as long as humanly possible.

WHY TRACTION WRAP?

Think about it. We go to great “lengths” to elongate our penile tissues beyond their normal resting or tumescent states. However, our masterfully designed bodies are prone to what’s known as homeostasis. By nature, any bodily adaptations want to quickly return to their previous state. It’s really a protection for us; otherwise we would be a pretty scary looking bunch, with upturned eyelids and stretched out noses and earlobes. Unfortunately, this bodily tendency can work to our disadvantage when it comes to penis enlargement.

The idea behind traction wrapping after penis exercises is as follows: if we apply a stimulus long enough, the body will be forced to compensate. In this case, the compensation is elongated penile tissues — in other words, a bigger penis.

Traction wrapping works well in the following situations:

  • Decondition breaks
  • Cementing routines
  • Post-hanging maintenance

Traction wrapping has the following advantages:

  • It is very comfortable when done correctly
  • It is virtually unnoticeable under clothing
  • It prevents turtling after penis exercises

I don’t feel that traction wrapping alone is enough for penis growth. The process does not apply sufficient force to do any significant tissue stretching. It is very useful, however, in keeping tissues elongated after an effective stretching or hanging routine.

TRACTION WRAPPING MATERIALS

Several materials can be effectively used as wraps. I prefer self-adhesive sports bandages. Generally the more expensive ones work better, as they usually have better adhesives that last longer. A single wrap can be used for several days and washed for hygienic reasons. After the adhesives wear off or the stretchiness is gone, simply toss the wrap and cut a new one. A roll of adhesive bandages will last several weeks.

HOW TO PERFORM PROPER TRACTION WRAPPING

  1. Roll out and cut approximately 18″ of wrap (you may adjust this if necessary).
  2. With your penis in a flaccid state, grip your glans with 2 fingers. (Your thumb should be closest to your stomach and your finger behind the glans.) Stretch your penis out as far as possible.
  3. Take one end of the wrap and place the outermost edge just behind the glans.  Hold it in place with your gripping finger.
  4. Wrap 2 or 3 turns just behind the glans and start working your way up the shaft.
  5. Wrap as far as possible up the shaft and secure the loose end.

As a bonus, I have found that traction wrapping is also effective for glans enlargement. After Step 4, I like to push and Kegel blood into the glans as I wrap. The wrap serves as a tourniquet to keep the glans engorged. I “pump” it full of blood until it feels like it is going to burst. It swings like a pendulum.

There you have it – traction wrapping.  I hope you find it as useful as I have!

  1. in my experience with this traction wrap, i will first tell you that when i began to wrap my penis right after a work out.. ofcourse right after a cool down with a cold towel. i then did the traction wrap as directed.. in the begining i just put it on for 1 hour for the first week. after the first week i added another hour. so then i stayed with 2 hours of traction wrapping for 2 weeks and it felt good and seemed to work very very well. after the first month i added an extra hour. so 3 hours of traction wrapping after every full work out! (Just to be on the Safe side)

this type of frequencey worked very well for me. hopefully u follow the same steps as i have done. and im sure 100% will work for you.
    hope this helps people.

    goodluck

  2. i will admit that the traction wrapping was vary hard for me to decide if was gonna do this for the next couple of years . my penis is about 6-1/2″ so there was no problem with application but i just didn’t like it .. i did this for a 3 days once in the past and it worked great with keeping my penis from retracting and had a light pulling motion which left my penis feeling longer flaccid but wasn’t interested in giving this exercise time for results

  3. I’ve been excercising off and on for about two years now. I’ve always meant to do traction wrapping but never did. I started up my excersise routine again last Monday then again Thursday and wrapped both times and guess what? NO turtling!!! Woohoo!

  4. One moment i read, too much work = damage. Then next moment i read, elongate the penis for as long as possible…. seriously this site, as much as i respect, needs some serious fine tuning.

  5. i leave it on for 45mins just like after a girth work out with the rings or hair ties whatever floats your boat, but i believe 45 mins is perfect for the fact that just like with girth work outs you can cause damage after 45mins of cutting off the blood because the blood is not circulating and you can actually kill cell’s in the penis but there is more damage that can be done also.Sports bandages can be purchased at a walmart or sports authority

  7. Can I incorporate this into my pe routine? I am at the end of my 1st week into the jp90. I was planning to wrap immediately after warm down and leave it on during rest days. I do a 1 day on 1 day off routine using jp90. During the rest day, I will do various kegel exercises .
