Sexual Dysfunction: What All Men Should Know

Sexual Dysfunction: What All Men Should Know

This article is a repost which originally appeared on Women Fitness Magazine

Sexual Dysfunction: What All Men Should Know : All around the world, millions of men secretly suffer from health problems that prevent them from experiencing a fulfilling sexual life with their partner. Whether it’s the inability to get erect, ejaculate, or a loss of sexual desire or stamina, these issues affect men of all ages and backgrounds but tend to manifest with age.

More often than not, sexual potency problems arise from underlying physical or psychological causes that must be treated to allow gentlemen to enjoy healthy and satisfying sex life. In that spirit, here’s a useful reference guide covering sexual dysfunction problems in men, along with what you can do if you ever suffer from one of these conditions.

What is Sexual Dysfunction?

Essentially, male sexual dysfunction encompasses all physical or psychological conditions that avert gentlemen from experiencing normal sexual activity. These typically involve bedroom issues such as having a difficult time maintaining an erection, ejaculating too early or too late, or simply not feeling the desire to engage in intercourse. They diverge in nature and gravity and have a different diagnosis, causes, and treatments. As such, understanding these problems will enable the patient to treat it effectively and durably.

Types of Male Sexual Disorders

When it comes to sexual potency issues in men, it’s important to analyze each condition individually to fully grasp its extent and select the most appropriate solution. Sexual dysfunction comprises three main types, including:

  1. Erectile Dysfunction

Perhaps the most widespread sexual potency issue, erectile dysfunction (ED) is characterized by the inability to grow an erection or maintain one throughout intercourse. Needless to say that impotence can have a great negative impact on performance and self-esteem, but ultimately, it’s perfectly treatable. For your reference, it’s been estimated that nearly 1 in 2 American men over the age of 40 suffer from ED to varying extents.

  2. Abnormal Ejaculation

Another common concern pertains to ejaculation or the act of ‘coming’. While there’s no standard duration that dictates how long a man should last in bed, ejaculating too early, too late, or not at all can pose problems in a couple’s sexual dynamic. On the one hand, premature ejaculation makes a man reach orgasm too early, typically in less than 5 or 10 minutes. Naturally, this can prevent the partner from having an orgasm themselves. On the other hand, delayed ejaculation (also referred to as male orgasmic disorder) involves experiencing late ejaculation, over 30 minutes in the intercourse, or non-ejaculation.

  3. Diminished Libido

Reduced sexual appetite can also block men from having a fulfilling sex life. It’s characterized by a decreased interest or desire in partaking in intercourse, despite having the physical ability to (usually no erectile or ejaculation problem here). Diminished libido is typically a sign of a deeper psychological ailment, which brings concrete repercussions and prevents a man from enjoying a healthy and dynamic life. There’s a lot more to find out here on how to boost your sexual stamina and drive for your pleasure and that of your partner’s. Invariably, consulting specialized online guides can be an effective first step towards alleviating this debilitating condition.

Common Causes

In modern days, thanks to the advancements in the scientific and medical fields, we possess a much clearer understanding of what may cause gentlemen to experience sexual potency issues. These symptoms often come together and result in sexual dysfunction. On a physical level, low testosterone levels, high blood pressure, prescription drugs, smoking, alcoholism, or drug abuse can take an immense toll on a man’s sex life, along with existing conditions such as diabetes, nerve damage, or strokes. On a psychological level, stress, depression, performance anxiety, relationship problems, or past sexual trauma has been proven to cause performance issues.

Treatments

Fortunately, all these sex-related problems have proven and tested remedies. The Doctor or healthcare professional will typically start by asking questions relating to your sexual activity, frequency, and habits, which you should answer in all honesty and transparency to establish the right diagnosis. Next, they will proceed with a battery of tests (blood pressure, blood sugar levels, testicular examination, prostate check) to determine whether everything is in working order. They will then prescribe the appropriate solution, whether as medication or therapy, to be followed thoroughly.

All things considered, sexual dysfunction in men can take many forms and arise from a variety of physical or psychological predispositions. Regardless of what you’re dealing with, there’s no point in feeling shame or anguish; instead, focus on finding the cause of your ailment and seek the professional medical help you need to overcome it and start enjoying a fulfilling sex life once again. Remember that, the more proactive you are, the higher your chances of finding a permanent solution to your problem.

Six Sex Secrets – What you need to know to master your sexuality (part 2)

4. Mastering Lovemaking

Being sexually confident, knowing how to control your ejaculation, and having a beautiful penis is not enough if you are a lousy lover!

Learning how to satisfy a woman sexually is key to a happy relationship, and many people have been writing on this subject before me.

But I’ll give you tip about this that rarely the other “sex gurus” ever give.

The tip would be to ask your sexual partner what she likes, try it with her and get some feedback on how it was for her, then ask her and how you can make it even more pleasurable for her the next time.

It may sound simple, but rarely men ever have a conversation about their sexual performance with their lover when it’s already good. Usually, this topic only comes up when one of the partners is not happy sexually.

So just ask her today what she would like you to try in bed next time.

5. Mindful Masturbation

A lot of sexual problems are caused by consuming porn and masturbating the wrong way.

If you stop consuming porn (or at least consume softer porn and less often), and if you’ll learn how to masturbate the right way, issues like premature ejaculation and erection challenges will solve themselves in most cases.

So if you are consuming porn and you masturbate to it “the wrong way,” I would recommend considering stopping with this habit, and instead, replace it with mindful masturbation which is the right kind of self-love.

Over the years, I’ve developed five different mindful masturbation exercises, which I’ll tell you about the next time.

6. Sexuality – The Next Level

Almost no one talks about this, but there is a secret about sexuality that most men don’t know, and even those who heard about it never give it the attention it deserves.

The topic is male sexual energy, and if you learn to master it, not only you’ll gain better control over your ejaculation and erection and become a better lover automatically, but you’ll also boost your health, clarity, creativity, and success.

Sounds crazy or too good to be true?

Well, I was thinking the same way when I first heard about it.

But there is an entire chapter in the book Think and Grow Rich about sexual energy TRANSMUTATION, and this topic was well known and studied for over 3,000 years in the fat east.

And I’m not an expert on this topic because I’m still exploring it myself, but I can recommend you to read Mantak Chia’s books.

In conclusion:

You can always overcome any sex-related challenge in your life and become the kind of lover you dreamed of becoming.

Another thing that I want you to remember and understand is that if you are having a sexual challenge right now, it’s not your fault, and everything can be solved!

And most importantly, you are now on PEGym, and this is a community is here to help each other, so you are at the right place in this stage in your life, and hopefully, you’ll master your sexuality fast, and you’ll enjoy the process.

Until the next time,

Six Sex Secrets – What you need to know to master your sexuality (part 1)

Six Sex Secrets – What you need to know to master your sexuality (part 1)

Humans are sexual beings, and when something is wrong with our sexuality, it can cause us a lot of stress and discomfort.

Luckily, regardless of what challenge you are facing with your sexuality right now, everything can be fixed, and you can master your sexuality at any stage of your life.

You can even take your sexuality to a higher level than you ever thought was even possible if you’ll master the six sex secrets I’m going to tell you about right now.

I’ll share with you what I consider to be the six areas of male sexuality that every man must work on if he wants to master his sexuality and unleash his full sexual potential.

But here is a disclaimer before we dive in: To master male sexuality, you need to work on each one of the six areas, and it may take many years and a lot of hard work for some man, but it’s a worthy journey.

1. Sexual Mindset Mastery

Your mindset is the gateway to mastering your sexuality because everything starts with your mindset. If you don’t take care of your mindset first, no technique or supplement will help you because the mind is more potent than any male enhancement you may ever buy online.

I know that because I worked with many men, and I helped men from all over the world overcome premature ejaculation, become better lovers, solve erection challenges, and even stop porn addictions.

And time and time again, I’ve seen that the solution usually starts with working on the mindset, so before you try to solve your sexual challenge with a trick, technique, devices, or supplements. First, pay attention to your mindset and your thoughts.

Because sometimes, all the difference in the world starts from merely changing how you think about the world – just think about it.

2. Total Ejaculation Control

Premature ejaculation in men is my area of expertise, I started Vibrating Love to teach men how to last longer in bed, so there is a lot to be said on this topic, but I’ll try to sum it up for you.

It does not matter if you are the most beautiful guy in the neighborhood or if you have a huge dick or if you can give the best oral sex or finger like a pro any woman to an intense orgasm.

As long as you won’t be able to control your ejaculation until your partner enjoys her orgasm from a simple penetration, she will never be happy with you sexually, so make sure you achieve total ejaculation control.

The good news is that usually premature ejaculation is caused by masturbating the wrong way (generally to porn). And if you invest the time doing the right things, it’s easy to master your ejaculation control and get this challenge solved once and for all.

3. Penis Empowerment Principles

The penis is a very interesting thing, and some even say that it has a mind of its own. I think that it’s right in a way because almost every man has made some stupid decisions in his life because he was thinking with his penis.

Did it ever happen to you or maybe to someone you know intimately?

The good news is that if you have an erection problem and everything is ok with your overall health. It can be easy and fast to make your erection robust, lasting, and reliable again.

And if you have a small penis and you insist on enlarging it because you think you just can’t live with a small penis anymore, remember that you can make it bigger naturally without any surgery, it just takes longer and some work on your part.

But I suggest that you first try to learn to live it with it and work on your mindset and self-image and only in the end if you still want to make it bigger, go about it in a natural way and with a coach.

So if you ever worried about your penis, you should not worry anymore because this is what the PEGYM community is for, and if this is a challenge that you are facing right now in your life, then you are at the right place.

Stamina Training & Sexual Performance: Ask The Experts

Stamina Training & Sexual Performance: Ask The Experts

Big Al, of MaleEnhancementCoach.com, answers questions about Stamina Training & Sexual Performance.

If you have questions you’d like answered in an Ask the Experts article, please PM Big Al.

Q.  Big Al, I have a few questions concerning my stamina workout and sexual performance…

1) This one doesn’t matter if it’s with a woman. I read that I should masturbate up to couple of seconds before ejaculating. Is that how it should be done or when I feel that the end is about to come – my pelvic floor starts tensing and I know that I’ve lost control over it – when should I stop, first or second ?

2) Are there some positions that you suggest since I need to have full control over the motions?

3) And I understood that I shouldn’t do the stop and starts if I have sex more than three times a week?

4) Since in the past I managed easily to get erection after finishing once or just maintaining it , is it bad to cum 3 to 4 times per evening when with a partner ?

5) And when cumming 3 or 4 times do you suggest doing the Stop and Start each time or just the first time ?

Big Al: Thanks for your questions! I’ve answered them in the order they were received:

1) Performing the techniques of the Stop and Starts during sexual activity is a superior practice to the manual version, but also more difficult to control. You’ll need to experiment with learning how you feel when you’re building up to ejaculation. If your pelvic floor begins to flutter this is a good sign you’re getting close. Slowing/stopping at this time should allow you to hold off ejaculation/orgasm. Learning when to stop and the timing in which you Kegel in reference to approaching the PONR is going to take practice.

2) Missionary position allows you maximum control, and when performed correctly is often the preferred position for giving a woman orgasms.

3) You should limit the MANUAL Stop and Starts as per the “60 Minute Rule” outlined in the Stamina Exercises section. You can have as much sexual contact as you can handle, but please be aware that sex can be considered a form of training. If you’re engaging in a lot of sex (several hours a day, multiple days per week) this will cut into your recovery. You may need to take extra days off between your enlargement sessions to account for this. Compound this with other types of training and you can see how you’ll need to optimize your recovery if you wish to be able to handle it all.

4) If you can recover enough to engage in 3 to 4 bouts of sexual activity per evening then more power to you 🙂

5) Practicing during live sexual activity is different from manual training. I don’t want to place any positive limitations on you (which includes the number of “stops”), but you should ensure you’re attempting to increase your time each session.

The Towel Raise:

The towel raise is a great exercise for developing penile strength and rock hard erections. It’s essentially a weighted kegel, so don’t perform this movement until you’ve fully mastered the kegel.

With an erection, place a towel over the end of your penis. Try to lift your towel-covered penis by squeezing the PC muscle (as in kegels.) Start with 20 reps and work up to 100 reps 5 times a week. As time goes by, you can add weight by using larger towels, or even by wetting the towel. An advanced technique for Towel Raises would be to hold the towel in the up position for 10 to 20 seconds at a time.

You should attempt to work up to 5 to 10 of these sustained

Super Kegels:

The Super Kegel is performed the same way as the regular kegel, except you try to go for holding endurance instead of repetition quantity. Try to work up to 5- 100 second holds.

Emotional/Mental Conditioning

Performance anxiety is perhaps the biggest contributor to issues with stamina- especially among younger men. A close second would be negative conditioning caused by negative masturbation habits (usually in conjunction with pornography addiction). Even if anxiety isn’t present, if enough negative conditioning has set in it can still dull the desired sexual response.

The standard stamina regimen outlined earlier can be usually be used with success for this type of issue, but it the problem is severe one should expect to devote some time (usually several weeks) to reconditioning to perform the exercises adequately. It’s VITAL this transition period be stuck with, and the best mindset during this period is an objective one since the exercise form may not be up to standard. Accepting this temporary situation will greatly accelerate the process.

The visualization portion of this training is perhaps the most important aspect. This is NOT a reference to sexual fantasizing, but to projecting the type of emotions you wish to have during actual sexual encounters. You’ll want to project a feeling of utmost confidence and being completely unencumbered. That way, you can focus on all of the sensations of the exercise. By doing this, when you do have live sexual encounters your emotions will be “trained”, and the stimulus of a live environment will help you enjoy the experience even more.

This initial attempting to clear the mind to create a blank slate for the reconditioning will be necessary. There’s a particular type of issue found in those who attempt to shortcut the process of mastering the emotional vulnerabilities which can lead to Erectile Dysfunction. This is called the “Dark Side” of male enhancement, and many inadvertently use this process to overcome (to some degree) their performance anxieties. Essentially, it involves a deliberate decoupling of emotion and sexual contact- often accompanied with the mindset of obtaining sexual partners for “practice”. In extreme cases, sexual partners are viewed merely as sex objects used to bolster the ego.

The downside of the above practice becomes evident when the trainer decides one day to allow themselves to become emotionally vulnerable (e.g.- they “fall in love”). Often enough, the repressed issues find themselves at the forefront again- often with a vengeance.

Learning to first accept you’ll need retraining then taking a mature and objective approach to it will offer you the best opportunity towards rebuilding your stamina and sexual confidence.

Extreme Stamina Training

This particular series will address the spectrums of stamina training- from the low end, where the common symptoms are premature ejaculation, performance anxiety, and even erectile dysfunction; to the other end of the spectrum – where unusual levels of stamina and conditioning are sought- and where the domain between high EQ and high level enlargement begin to merge.

The third part of this article will cover Emotional/Mental Conditioning- creating the necessary emotional environment and mental objectivity for successful stamina training and sexual performance.

Low End Stamina

Before we proceed with this article, it should be noted that issues like erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation can and often are contributed to by performance anxiety. That part of the equation will be discussed in greater detail in the last part of this series – titled: “Emotional/Mental Conditioning”

Stamina is the “temporal” portion of the EQ equation- with “hardness” as the other measure. Men with low EQ would need to train stamina directly- and it’s likely other factors related to performance- like cardiovascular conditioning, diet, and lifestyle may need to be address to get the maximum EQ increase possible.

A standard stamina routine like the one shown here should be sufficient to get started with standard stamina training.

We HIGHLY recommend forgoing any enlargement work until your EQ is at acceptable levels.

It’s also possible to lack stamina from a performance perspective, and this usually means problems with premature ejaculation. Premature ejaculation can be caused by conditioning and can be a product of anxiety. If emotional reinforcement is necessary then the tactics discussed in the third part of this article series should help. For now, we’ll cover the aspect which can be addressed via training.

Premature Ejaculation:

Premature ejaculation is defined as sexual contact insufficient in time to be considered “satisfactory”. The International Classification of Diseases (ICD-10) defines Premature Ejaculation 15 seconds or less from the beginning of sexual intercourse.

In cases where premature ejaculation is physically caused by negative conditioning (e.g.- masturbating in a rapid, furtive manner), the “Extreme Stop and Starts” exercise can be employed to counter the effects:

In order to accelerate your progress in this area we’re going to take a more drastic approach to the Stop and Start exercise. For your Stop and Starts, you’re going to work with UP TO 10 “stops”- as opposed to the normal 3 stops per session with this exercise. Even if you have to take long pauses or slow down the tempo, do your best to get up to 10 minutes total with this exercise. Once you can comfortably get to 10-15 minutes with the 10 stops, we’ll maintain the time and reduce the number of stops each session.

Stay tuned for Part 2 of this series!

5 Tips to Help Improve Your Sexual Stamina

stamina cartoon

stamina cartoonIncreasing stamina is one of the more common goals, here at PEGym. Even guys who come here primarily for penis enlargement, many would also like to be able to increase their stamina as well. Wanting to improve your stamina doesn’t mean you necessarily have an issue with premature ejaculation. In fact, many men with average stamina express a desire to increase their lasting time, for not only themselves, but also their partners as well.

Keep reading for 5 tips to help you increase your sexual stamina.

  1. Lubricant + Condom = Increased Stamina – A study published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine found that men who used lubricant with a condom lasted longer than men who just used a condom. Just be sure to use a water- or silicone-based lube when wearing a condom. Oil-based lubricants can degrade condoms and cause them to fail.
  2. Focus on Your Breathing – Becoming over-excited and over-stimulated is the primary cause of orgasming too soon. Take a moment and really take some nice, deep, cleansing breaths, when you feel things getting a little out-of-control. This will help you regain control and release tension.
  3. Stop and Starts or Edging – Stop and Starts or Edging are a great way to practice bringing yourself to that point of no return, and then backing off the brink. Stamina has a big mental component, and this solo exercise can help give you the confidence you need to succeed when you’re with a partner. Learn more about Edging here — Edging for Increased Stamina & Penis Enlargement.
  4. Redefine What Stamina Means – The Journal of Sexual Medicine found the optimal length of intercourse was between 3 and 13 minutes, with the average being 7.3 minute. Now, mind you, this time frame doesn’t include foreplay, guys. So, you can definitely extend the “sexual encounter” by maximizing foreplay, by focusing on your partner. However, the point is actually having intercourse for hours on end may not really be what your partner needs or even wants.
  5. Talk to a Counselor – Stamina isn’t just dependent on physical components, but can also be affected by mental factors too. Stress, anxiety and more can all cause you to orgasm more quickly then you’d like and even snowball into self-fulfilling prophecies. Talking with a mental health professional can help you address these psychological factors.

What is Anorgasmia? Male Orgasmic Disorder

premature ejaculation

premature ejaculationPremature ejaculation, orgasming too quickly, is a well-know problem. However, for approximately 10 percent of men, anorgasmia, the inability or difficulty in reaching orgasm, is just as problematic.

Tens of thousands of men, especially as they get older, experience this male orgasmic disorder. It can be just as frustrating as premature ejaculation.

What is Anorgasmia?

Anorgasmia, also known as male orgasmic disorder, is the inability to reach orgasm, despite adequate stimulation. Some suffering from anorgasmia are only able to reach orgasm through manual or oral stimulation. Others are not able to reach orgasm at all.

There are two types of anorgasmia. Primary anorgasmia is defined as men who have always had difficulty orgasming. Secondary anorgasmia happens when a man used to be able to orgasm normally, but has lost this ability. Both types of anorgasmia can be equally frustrating for both the man and his partner.

What Causes Anorgasmia?

Anorgasmia can be caused by either psychological or physiological problems, or both. Psychological issues causing this male orgasmic disorder include depression and anxiety. Increases in stress in a man’s life can be the catalyst to this condition. This can then lead to increased stress, due to the inability to orgasm, creating a dangerous snowball effect. Furthermore, use of some anti-depressants, especially selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) can cause anorgasmia. In fact, approximately 25% of SSRI users experience this problem, as a side effect.

Physiological problems are also a cause of anorgasmia. Diabetic neuropathy and multiple sclerosis both can result in male orgasmic disorder. Trauma and injury too can be a root cause, including spinal cord injury, genital trauma or surgery, pelvic trauma, and radical prostatectomy. Even hormonal issues, such as low testosterone and low thyroid, can negatively affect a man’s ability to orgasm.

What Should I do if I Think I have Male Orgasmic Disorder?

If you have consistent and persistent trouble orgasming, speak to your doctor. There may be an underlying medical issue that needs to be addressed that you’re not aware of. Be sure to tell your physician about any and all medications you are taking. Once physiological causes are ruled out, a mental health professional can help you address any psychological issues that may be affecting your ability to orgasm.

The important thing to know is you’re not alone.  Don’t give up hope!

Climax Control Condoms: What Are They & Do They Work?

Climax Control Condoms

Along with penis size, stamina in the bedroom is a real concern for many men. Although there are ways to work around issues with premature ejaculation and satisfying your partner, being unable to control your orgasm can frustrating and can wreak havoc on the ego. This is where climax control condoms have entered the marketplace.

Climax control condoms use Benzocaine to desensitize the penis.
Climax control condoms use Benzocaine to desensitize the penis.

What Are Climax Control Condoms?

Climax control condoms, as the name implies, are designed to help control ejaculation. Sometimes referred to as “extended pleasure” condoms, these condoms have a special lubricant that is purported to help with premature ejaculation. What is this special lubricant?  Benzocaine.

Benzocaine is a topical pain reliever. This local anesthetic is often found in over-the-counter mouth pain treatments, such as Anbesol, Cepacol and Carmex. It is also sometimes found in ear drops used for the treatment of inner ear pain. The Benzocaine provides a slight numbing of the nerve endings where it is applied.

Climax control condoms can help minimize sensation to help prevent premature ejaculation.

Pros About Climax Control Condoms

For men who have extreme premature ejaculation problems, the numbing sensation of the climax control condom can help minimize the sensation, and therefore control orgasm. If you find yourself orgasming at first entry, or worse – at first touch!, the numbing may be just what you need to get past this instantaneous orgasm. Also, most women don’t notice any different sensation, than any other condom.

Climax control condoms can work too well, completely numbing the penis and preventing ejaculation or causing a loss of erection.
Climax control condoms can work too well, completely numbing the penis and preventing ejaculation or causing a loss of erection.

Cons About Climax Control Condoms

For some men, the numbing sensation is simply too much. Many users have reported having trouble orgasming with climax control condoms. It appears you the Benzocaine can take men from one extreme (premature ejaculation) to the other (unable to ejaculate).  Some have even reported the loss of erection, due to the loss of feeling in the penis, or an uncomfortable burning sensation, causing loss of erection. Occasionally, the numbness is also experienced by women, which can then be frustrating for both partners.

Minuteman’s Dry Orgasm Guide – Part 1

Dry Riverbed Image Dry Orgasm Guide

This article has been adapted by the editor of PEGym.com, from the guide written by Minuteman. The guide content is subject to change.

Note: This guide is for attempting to dry orgasm solo. But all the knowledge here transitions well into sex. Responsibility: By reading this guide, you and you alone bear the responsibility for attempting exercises, techniques and methods that are described or mentioned in this guide, so you attempt all this at your own risk, you have been warned.

Motivated by the current rise in interest about dry orgasms, despite the fact there is information about this in the Premature Ejaculation Forum, Minuteman creases a comprehensive guide on dry orgasms and how to achieve them. He is also motivated by the desire to help others to avoid possible injuries while attempting dry orgasm. Many PE’ers who attempt dry orgasms for the first time become (understandably) demotivated to pursue multiple male orgasms (MMO) further, due to the difficulties experienced when attempting dry orgasm. Minuteman was lucky to to have one of his first dry orgasms be a clean one. This proved to him one can attempt dry orgasm and suffer absolutely no discomfort when done right.

When performed correctly, dry orgasms can lead to multiple male orgasms.
When performed correctly, dry orgasms can lead to multiple male orgasms.

Introduction to Dry Orgasms

I used dry orgasm as one of the first tools to overcome premature ejaculation. While I was actively doing it, I was able to with relative ease. However, I stopped since I had no partner and decided to pursue other more traditional ways of fixing premature ejaculation. I knew there will always be times when doing a dry orgasm will be too difficult, due to various distractions. In doing so, I learned a lot.

  • In the first part of this guide, I will introduce the basic definition and elements of dry orgasm to eliminate any confusion with terms and also to clarify many points.
  • In the second, third and fourth parts, I will discuss in depth each of the elements needed for a successful dry orgasm.
  • In the fifth part, I will describe the entire dry orgasm process, including the things leaned from the previous parts and other tips.

Part I – Terminology, Classifications, Definitions, and Reasoning

Note: I assume you know what terms like: edging, ballooning, kegel, reverse kegel, root lock (back kegel) , reverse root lock (reverse back kegel) mean. If you don’t, pleas educate yourself on those terms first, then come back here. If I were to decribe all of these terms here, the length of this would quickly go from a guide to a book.

1) What is a Dry Orgasm? –  Differentiating Between Medical Terms and MMO Terms

If you Google around a bit, you will read many sources say dry orgasm and retrograde ejaculation are the same or one leads to another, since nothing comes out of your penis. However, in MMO terminology dry orgasm is different.

Retrograde ejaculation happens when the path for sperm to come out of your penis is obstructed or the bladder sphincter is not functioning properly. Since your sperm doesn’t have anywhere to go, it goes into your bladder. Dry orgasm, in this medical sense, is the feeling that occurs when retrograde ejaculation happens.  This is why most of the time when one refers to dry orgasm, in non-MMO terms, it refers to retrograde ejaculation. Just to be clear, these medical terms are valid in their definitions; however, since MMO also uses the term dry orgasm it can become a source of confusion.

Other types of medical dry orgasm occurs in younger males when they ejaculate numerous times within a short amount of time. This is due to the fact the testes are unable to produce enough sperm, but only able to provide the spasm that occurs with orgasm and nothing to ejaculate.

In MMO terms, dry orgasm occurs when you have an orgasm without ejaculation but during the time you should be ejaculating. This is done by stopping the expulsion part of ejaculation, with kegel holds, reverse kegel holds or some other method (these alternative methods are not explored or suggested in this guide since their safety hasn’t been determined).

Proper dry orgasm is made up of 3 components: strength, technique and timing.
Proper dry orgasm is made up of 3 components: strength, technique and timing.

2) Strength, Technique, Timing – The Essential Components of Dry Orgasm

There are three elements that determine whether the dry orgasm is performed properly or improperly. In order to have a dry orgasm the way it is meant to be, you must learn how to be proficient in all three of components. The better you are, the better dry orgasm you will have.

  • STRENGTH – The strength of the kegel hold needed to shut down the spasms that occur.
  • TECHNIQUE – The proper way of moving your kegel to make your hold more effective.
  • TIMING – The correct time when you should hold your kegel to properly preform a dry orgasm.

3) Types of Dry Orgasms

There are three bad and two good types of dry orgasms. The bad ones I list are for identification. The goal is to learn how to perform the two good ones.

Bad Dry Orgasms

  1. Dribble Ejaculation – This one happens most of the time when your kegel hold is not strong enough to attempt a dry orgasm. In a way, this one is the most harmless of the bad ones, since in the end all of the sperm goes out albeit very slow. Note: Dribble ejaculation can also occur normally when your pelvic floor is unbalanced and your reverse kegels are stronger than kegels, or your kegels are just weak. After dribble ejaculation, everything happens as with regular ejaculation.
  2. Partial Ejaculation – This happens when your timing is off and part of your ejaculation gets out. The remainder of the ejaculation either goes into your bladder (Partial-Retro) or doesn’t and is reabsorbed. This depends on both your technique and strength. Depending if the retro was included or not, you will go flaccid very fast and most of the time unable to retain both arousal and erection. As before, if without retro you likely will feel slight disconfort but lose little of your erection and arousal. Even though partial ejaculations may feel “good enough,” avoid having this type of orgasm and do not settle for them.
  3. Retro Ejaculation – This happens when your technique is not good enough and is the one most people experience. You should avoid retro ejaculation at all costs, since it can injure you. You will have a huge drop in both arousal and erection, and your penis might even turtle a little. Most of the time, you will feel discomfort. In order to check if you have in fact had retro ejaculation, after you attempt a dry orgasm, try and urinate in a cup and see how cloudy it is. If it is cloudy (you will spot it at once), you have retro ejaculated.

Good DOs

  1. Clean DO (or just Dry Orgasm) – This is the one you want. Clean dry orgasm happens when your strength and timing is right on the money. The technique is good enough. You will feel no discomfort during this dry orgasm. Your erection will drop just a little, due to the kegel hold, but your arousal and desire will remain as they where. It is up to you if you want to now take it slow or ejaculate or do another one. You will have approximately three spasms of decreasing strength. The first spasm is the one that you turn into a kegel hold, the second one will happen and, if your hold is strong enough, it will be of much decreased strength (you will barely feel it). The third one will be almost non-existent. If you experience more than three spasms, they will usually result in retrograde ejaculation or another of the bad types. The feeling of a good dry orgasm is very unique, even though it is an orgasm without an ejaculation. Most of the time, you will know if you have done it.
  2. Perfect DOs – This is the best form. This is the ideal dry orgasm when you have a kegel hold activated in specific way (technique) and specific strength (strength) and at a specific time (timing) that it STOPS all other spasms after the first one. In other words, you completely stop the ejaculation. You are left with the orgasmic feeling, no erection drop at all and your arousal is intact. That is what anyone who is practicing dry orgasm should aim for after clean dry orgasms. You are left a slightly before the point of no return. However, in essence this one is all technique. People with premature ejaculation might even encounter this one by accident while preforming start and stop with a kegel hold. It is bad practice to rely just on technique, because in order for this one to occur all the time you have to have all three parts perfect.

4) The Reverse Kegel Hold Dry Orgasm (And Why I Haven’t Included it Here)

As you will notice while reading this guide, there is no mention of dry orgasms achieved by reverse kegels, even though you might have run into people mentioning them in PEGym.com forums.

Here are some reasons I won’t be “teaching” how to RKDO:

  • I am not able to do it: This is the first and most important reason why. The whole point of this guide is to create a safe and well-defined environment where you can attempt dry orgasm with little to no risk. If I don’t know about details of RKDO, I am not going to give you some half-hearted explanation.
  • Not every reverse kegel hold you do and point of no return is a RKDO. This is the same as the fact that not every kegel hold is a dry orgasm, even if you are near the point of no return, because you are not stopping spasm kegel but just an involuntary one. However, due to now knowing those details, people usually clam they are able to RKDO. Until you are able to constantly produce similar results under the same circumstances you should not be sure of it.
  • It’s against the natural flow. Reverse kegeling goes against the normal flow of the ejaculation process. In timing mastery, I do tell you to hold the kegel but in a way it can (and will) be overpowered by a spasm kegel, so you can get the timing down. There you can feel and see that it is the natural flow.
  • Fully stopping a spasm kegel after a long and highly-aroused session is like waiting for somebody to punch you full force in the face. In contrast, turning a kegel spasm into a conscious kegel hold is like avoiding that punch and using the inertia to make it stronger,is the way you end up with a very strong kegel hold. However, in order to fully use that strength you have to be conditioned.

While there are people who swear by it, I can’t with clear conscience recommend you something like that.

In that light, I also want to warn you to always use your own judgement. Do not follow or trust this guide or me blindly, even though I have done everything I could to protect you from many problems that may occur and I have also followed the basic ideas while I was learning how to dry orgasm. This doesn’t mean there is nothing I am not aware of. If while performing the routines or mastering other aspects you feel or find something is fundamentally wrong, you should not continue this activity.

5) The Importance of Ejaculation

In time, you will gain the ability to have a dry orgasm. For some, ejaculation might start to seem pointless, since when you experience the first dry orgasm in a session you don’t feel much need to actually ejaculate and, in a way, feel satisfied. This mostly happens in the beginning stage of dry orgasming, when the brain is still mixing the signals from ejaculation with dry orgasming.

The thing to note here is ejaculation is a process that is good for the body. One of the most important things is it cleans the “pipes” and the prostate. In terms of men’s health, this is very, very important. If you continue to have dry orgasms and no ejaculations, you can become clogged and many of the secretions will be in your prostate. This can cause problems. On the other side of the equation, too frequent ejaculations might not benefit you or simply make you too tired. You should ejaculate at least once a week.

If you are dry orgasming, things change. You should ejaculate two to three days maximum after a dry orgasm session, in order to force the fluids that generate (mostly precum) out. For people who just started dry orgasming, this should be a rule.

For those who are seasoned dry orgasmers, they should ejaculate at the end of every session or the next day. Also, keep in mind you should not always dry orgasm. Having normal masturbation or sex that doesn’t involve dry orgasming at all is highly recommended. Mix it up!

If you had a dry orgasm and you feel a sort of preassure or fatigue in your testicles,  and if you are hard enough to ejaculate, you should. This will decrease the fatigue or eventual pain (the “blue balls”).

6) Why is This So Long and Complicated? It’s Just a Kegel Hold at the Right Time, Right?

The simple answer to this question is — to protect you. An alarming amount of people will try to perform a dry orgasm when they are not conditioned enough. This can sometimes lead to injury. Because of this, most later on become uninterested and don’t see the point of dry orgams. This especially happens when they didn’t perform it right. Who’s to blame them? This guide was written to make dry orgasms as easy as it can be.

There are two  more reasons this is so long:

  • To make you confident. By dry orgasming the right way the first, second or even third time, you will gain confidence in your sexual ability. Now you will always have some foundation to go back to. It might not sound like much right now, but once you have had your clean dry orgasm, you will find yourself agreeing.
  • To condition you. Dry orgasm is for many an entry point for MMO. By learning how to do this the right way, you open the door to many advanced experiences. Many of them will come naturally later on. Even for premature ejaculation problems, this way of conditioning will make you well-prepared to utilize any premature ejaculation techniques, with a much better understanding and ability than a beginner.

Do not fool yourself! MMO requires A LOT OF WORK AND DEDICATION. Some might be lucky or innate and be able to achieve this with little to no problems, but for most it isn’t that easy.

7) The Importance of Feedback

In order for this guide to be validated further, user feedback is of utmost importance. This means if you are reading this guide and using material from it, you should return the favor by posting here and telling us/me your opinion about it and even more importantly your experiences. In this way, I can make this guide even better, and you are helping others the way I may have helped you.

Even though I have tried my best to cover all the bases, this is nearly impossible without feedback. Some things I may have forgotten to mention and others may not have even occurred to me.

8) The Responsibility

Even though this guide tries its best to warn you (probably much more than is needed) and, via exercises and preparation, tries to protect you from any injuries and accidents that may happen, you and you alone bear the responsibility for attempting exercises, techniques and methods that are described in this guide. Attempt all of this at your own risk.
