    Hey guys,

    I've a few questions about kegeling. First of all, when I used to get random erections I always 'flexed' my penis which, to my knowledge was pretty much a kegel right? I felt like I had to flex my penis (pc muscles I'm guessing) for whatever reason. It got to the point where it was involuntary and very annoying. Last night I was cuddling up to a girl friend and in the spooning position I felt like I had no choice but to literally flex my penis and release after a few seconds as I suppose it induces a sense of safety idk.
    Anyway, for reverse kegels I really don't think I've been doing this right.
    I'd like to clear up the two distinct feelings when I kegel...
    1) Being erect and flexing my penis which literally makes it move upwards
    2) Being flaccid and flexing my butt cheeks together and contracting something that's around the ass area
    These are caused by the same muscles right?

    Conclusively, what program or exercise regime should I try out to improve erection quality?

    Do you have premature ejaculation along with eq issues?


    Involuntary kegels is a pelvic floor that is too tense, you should do some hindu squats
    to loosen things up abit with the rks.

    Ass muscles = PC muscles
    Dick flexing= BC muscles

    two different muscles but people find them difficult to isolate in the beginning, i do not Think this is
    very important unless one of the ones are very over-developed, you should be fine with just doing a full
    reverse kegel including both back and front.

      Ok, so John you stated that involuntary contractions are from a pelvic floor too tense. I still seem to contract involuntarily right before I ejaculate. Its an on and off occurrence, sometimes I can ejaculate with little to no contraction and just natural 'letting it go' ejaculation. This is due to a tight pelvic floor?

        Yes lildude, if you have no control over the contractions that cause you to ejaculate then this is likely due to tightness in the pelvic floor (PF). Hence the term IKs (involuntary kegels). IKs are responsible for pre-E in many guys and most guys want to be in control of how long they last during sex.
        In the case of ejaculating while spooning with your GF, the IKs started because you were in an intimate position with your GF, penetration or not. The IKs begin because spooning with your GF got you aroused.
        Stretching the PF with hindi squats and learning to RK can help one learn to control the IKs so you don't have issues with with premature ejaculation as you experienced while spooning with the GF.
        Learning this control takes time and consistent effort, but the confidence that comes along with being able to last long enough to provide your GF with one or many orgasms will be a positive in your sex life.
        DrJohn and others here have a good understanding of PF function/dysfunction and can help you gain control of the IKs you seem to be experiencing with your GF.
        The "flexing" of your dick that you started out doing voluntarily when you would get erections at a younger age became a bad habit which you are now having trouble preventing. IKs happen naturally with ejaculation, but if the IKs start as soon as you get an erection, then well, you know what happens.

          Thanks so much! I've been trying to pinpoint the involuntary contractions for a while and I never really came sacrosanct a decent answer and solution. I suppose rks are the way to go then. I am still concerned about the head of my penis and how hard it gets. I'm not sure though, if I can confidently penetrate as the first time I did (last week) it was really uncomfortable for me and I got soft very quickly. Should I go and see a doctor or specialist?

            Quit watching porn and masturbating alot, quit smoking if you do. Better your diet and do some forum of cardio. I've only been doing this and jp90 for 3 weeks and my erections are better than they have been in years. If the problem still persists after, then it might be time to go see a specialist.

              So, lately I've been very horny and as a result I have been getting a lot of erections and have pretty much had to flex my penis for whatever reason right. Idk if it's a safety thing (relatable to when you tense up as if you're about to get punched in the stomach) and so I suppose you could say the PC muscles were pretty tense. I masturbated today and I couldn't ejaculate without flexing at the end as much as I tried to. Is this normal? And really, are reverse kegs the only way to loosen the area up. I remember my first time masturbating and ejaculating and it was completely natural, there was no hesitation or flexing or anything. Once I reached the point of no return it was just a seemingly normal release of semen.

                Just stop flexing and when you feel its about to happend involuntary just RK.


                The soft glans+cs indicates that your bc doesnt work as well as it should.

                Start squatting and RK, stop all the contracting

                    Im in the same boat, as i just had sex and came in like a minute.... when i am about to ejaculate even while holding a RK, i get so far into the PONR and i cant help but kegal to get off. Is there something im doing wrong, or have i just hardwired myself to ejaculate that way and its just going to take time and practice to correct it?

                      Update: After that stupid week-long period of erect stretching which I thought was a good idea at the time... I noted that the head was smaller flaccid and there was sort of an indent when hanging flaccid. Hence, now I can't get the head of my penis to stay hard or even get engorged like before. I can only do this if laying on my side. What is my next move? See a specialist? I'm only 17 and quite honestly it just feels like something other 17 year olds just don't have to worry about
