    I was thinking about edging, and how so many PEers feel it is responsible for some of their gains. Now, I am unsure if someone has said this in the past but I was thinking about squeezing exercises which increase the smooth muscle in your penis, they basically just force a large amount of blood into your penis I believe.

    Now, could it be that edging allows your penis to be fully engorged for extended periods of time e.g. 45 mins, an hour and so on. could these prolonged periods of hardness lead to an increase in smooth muscle which is why so many guys put edging towards their gains.

    I'm a curious guy so if anyone has had any experience to do with this please reply.
    Starting Stats (15th Febuary 2010):
    EL: 5.7 inches.
    BPEL: 6.25 inches.
    EG: 5.25 inches

    Current:
    BPEL: 7 inches.

    Goal:
    BPEL: 8-10 inches.
    EG: 6.5-7 inches.

    Makes sense. I edge to fully engorge myself after my workout. Just to get that skin stretched out a bit more and get the blood in tissues. The blood flow also helps with recovery.
    Starting Size (09/2009): ~7"BPEL x ~5" MSEG
    Most Recent Measurement (08/13/2012): 8"BPEL x 5.5"MSEG

      But that's ballooning what you are talking about Sloppy. To push more and more blood into your penis by kegeling & reverse kegeling. To make your penis bigger in size temporarily! Anyways, it's not important what name you use because edging and ballooning are close to each other and I feel guys seldom do only one thing - at least I mix the two exercise techniques all the time.

      But yeah, I feel that it should help you in gains and exactly how you wrote it Sloppy. According to the TGC Theory, the pressure that comes from inside the penis should help create bigger girth (outside force then for length). This is done with squeezes, for example. So ballooning more and more blood into your shaft is making the same thing - building pressure inside.

      I feel that it is really difficult to report gains that you might get from ballooning. I mean, how many guys only do ballooning and then can say with a confidence that 'yeah, I have gained from ballooning.' But definitely it is a good support exercise that can be done to maximize the gains from other PE exercises.

        Sloppy as you are a curious guy, maybe you have read this already but I will include here the TGC Theory by Iguana and Remek. It explains pretty nicely how the pressure inside is targeting the smooth muscle and therefore, what you wrote, could then support gains.

          I agree Elias, I edge, do kegels and reverse kegels, but I don't ejaculate. I haven't been able to do a session with just rubbing the magic spot yet, but I'm working up to it.

            I don't understand; you guys say edging helps with EQ because it trains your body to understand how it is to have a full erection. But then how come you guys are so against Viagra? I've taken Viagra for a year now, it engorges my penis 100% and keeps it like that until I cum. If Viagra doesn't help my penis learn to understand how to keep an erection on it's own, how will edging help?

              I've seen where guys have used viagra,cialis,etc as a suppliment to their routine(ocassionally). I personally think it can make a good workout great. If I have cialis in my system and edge...talk about an intense erection, it's off the charts. I don't take them just for pe, but it will still be active during my routine at times, and its great. It will interupt the jelqing session though. I think NP97 is right, edging after a workout is a good practice.

                I just don't like taking pills. It's that simple. If I have a headache, I take paracetamol yes, and for allergies I have to take something. But that's it. And I certainly would not feel good to take Viagra for my penis - I am 28 years old! I want to make it jump to 11 o'clock naturally!

                But along with other PE exercises, I like edging. I edge 3-4 times a week, mostly the nights I do other exercises. Well, when I say edging, I mean edging from Edging 101 combined with ballooning from Ballooning 101 combined with Erect Kegel Jelqs, finished off with a nice ejaculation. That pretty much teaches my penis how to behave without Viagra.

                  For me I'd rather have a penis that acts like it's on Viagra without actually taking it. Apart from having a bigger penis, that's one of my other goals. To be able to go at a moments notice!!
