  • What do you think of using a Hair Dryer as a warmup method?

Hi guys, I have a rice sock but I ended up burning a hole in the sock lol and don't feel like warming up socks, it'd be much easier to just plug in my hair dryer and use that. So what do you guys think of that?

I used to warm up in front of a space heater, if you choose to use the blow dryer, GET SOME LOTION!

At the time I wasn't doing any jelqing or anything so I didn't use any lube or lotion and my skin got so dry from the heater after a couple days, like really bad chaffing. I stopped using the heater and would put lotion on every morning and night and after a week it was like nothing happened, but beware.

A stove wouldn't be a bad idea because it's not blowing air on you though.

Don't see how it could be good for your skin. I would be sure to use some lotion of vitamin e oil after you're done if this is the only way you can warm up.

You really need something to hydrate the skin if you use an electric heater. A heating pad or rice sock would be an all around better option if your looking for a dry warm up.

Balls do their thing better (sperm production) at a lower temp than your body.

The dry air under pressure might cause skin chafing, so be careful with this method.

                        Hi,

I've been thinking about responding being new and all.

But moist heat is far superior to dry heat as it penetrates deeper and lasts longer.

Plus you risk drying your skin out. Warm blowing air is a great way to dry paint weather lacquer or acrylic.

The only other thing I can use is a rice sock in the microwave but i don't think it's that great. I feel like the best thing would be to have a hot wet sock and use that but it gets cold in like 3 minutes. Is there something I could buy that would stay hot and moist for a long time?

                            Hi,

The sock gets cold fast as it's got a small area for heat retention.

Use a large towel which will last longer.

I was in the same boat, a towel helped. I simply microwave a wet towel for 2 minutes. A sock would take 30 seconds for the same temperature.

PS By large towel I mean a bath towel being 25"x45" on avg.

Or use a decent sized hand towel.
