I was under the impression that the easiest way to explain reverse kegels is to try to cut a fart or push out a thick dump. Sounds stupid but it makes it way easier to visualize or try doing reverses.

That's the best way to describe it. You should feel your bunghole and lower abdominal muscles tense. It's also kinda hard to breathe whilst doing them.

Just completed your kegel routine for the first time. All I can say is this is a tough workout but good! I am curious about how I will feel nest day.

I began ur Kegel routine yesterday. For the first time in a long time I can feel my pc muscle. My question is do u do ur kegel routine while sitting, standing, or reclining? Or do u vary this?

Sorry I didn't see your post. I do mine normally laying down in bed at night, I am in a most relaxed state when doing this. However, I don't know if it makes a difference. When I am doing them I have a finger on my pc muscle so I know that it is contracting, and on the longer holds whether or not I have relaxed a little and need to tighten up.

Any suggestions for a beginners kegel routine? In about 4 months I have gone from hardly being able to find/feel the kegel (outside of urination) to being able to do several one second or so kegels, resting a few seconds and doing another set. Occasionally I find myself being able to hold a kegel for a few seconds more, but that is fleeting. So do I just persevere or is there a better way?
