  • Can penile atrophy be reversed with PE?

    I was very, very religious one year and didn't partake in any sexual activity whatsoever. I lost about an inch in my erection length due to this.


    It's been nearly a decade since I last posted on here and I didn't have any gains because I did PE too infrequently (thanks, treatment-resistant depression).
    Please be respectful about this. I shared my story the last time I was here and I basically got mocked because of it. If there is a specific routine for optimal length gains, please fill me in on it. I was considering surgery for quite some time but I can't afford it.

      I was originally 5.5" (or 5.75" bone-pressed). Now I'm 4.75" bone-pressed and have been since after I was hyper-religious that year.

        Side question: is there a natural limit to how much you can ultimately gain?

        Having a foot-long penis would be impractical, but I'd like to get around 6.75", or two inches longer than it is now. I don't know if it's possible with the tissue loss that happened so long ago.

          Well people have gained 2 inches of length on here, there is a ranking for top gainer in the league of legends forum. If your penis used to be 5.75 inches bone pressed, I think it can get back to that measurement after some training or simply if you start using it frequently again (masturbation or sex), but PE is definitely the best way to go. Have you measured your girth?

            I cycled sildanefil during night time for about a month or two to gain back all I lost after bad nerve damage from a straddle injury (about an inch and a half, no erections for 5 months, not even night time), so while I'm not an expert I believe there are definitely ways and methods that are out there :-)

              I didn't notice a decrease in girth. I think atrophy only affects the length, but I'm not sure. Masturbating too much (and not enough) is one of its causes.

                Wow! I have a Viagra sample but the 50mg tablet didn't really do anything. Then again, I'm non-morbidly obese now and metabolize things much more slowly (will try two of them next). What did you mean by you cycling it?

                  Being hyper religious or abstinent for a year should not cause you to to lose an inch; the body of a healthy male has 4-5 erection at night (NPT) to maintain the health of the penis. Penile atrophy is typically a problem for a man in his later years with medical or hormonal issues that effect NPT and cause tissue rigidity or shrinkage.

                  If being hyper religious raised your level of stress and anxiety to high levels, that could have very well have been the cause of your atrophy due to the negative effect of some of the chemicals released by the body to cope with stress; this would also effect regular NPT function necessary to maintain the health of your penis.

                  As far as recovering from penile atrophy, you should first get tested for Testosterone level to ensure it is normal for your age and perhaps talk to a specialist (urologist?). You may need changes in your diet and doing some regular light exercise to manage any stress. You want to restore hormonal balance to aid in your PE efforts to recover and gain more penile size.

                    I was just on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) to treat my depression, but it didn't do anything and my T levels were over 900 after my last shot.

                      I've gained around 2.5 inch in length and experienced an increase in girth, but this was over a lot of years. I was also taking finasteride which lowers your DHT levels which has a negative effect on penis size and function; I'm also older (64 in April) but still managed decent gains from PE.

                        It is common for guys to lose size due to lack of use and/or hormone issues (they often go hand in hand).

                          What do you suggest I do each day for length? Is there a specific guide? (I'm not very good at following my own lead and orders. I'd rather just do exactly what is written.)

                          I still own a BathMate and poorly designed extender and leg strap from back then.

                            Hi friend,

                            I can give you some health advices for this. First of all, you said that you're overweight and you metabolism is slow. I strongly recomend you to increase your general health first, because that decrease in lenght may also be from poor circulation. You mentioned depression and treatments, that can surely affect your erections in a bad way. You should start with a little aerobic routine and some light conditioning in the gym, and after that start a mid-heavy cardio routine. I am a fitness trainer and devoted my life to that, I'm also a figher so I do a loooot of cardio, and I can tell you that, along with kegel exercises, your erections will get way harder and more frequent, and you'll notice an indirect increase in penile lenght and girth. I hope you'll find the dedication to improve your health and performance, may the stubborness guide you

                            EDIT: If you start kegelling, after a month or less don't forget to do reverse kegels! Those are really helpful to stamina and EQ. And i recommend you to start practicing breathing exercise, those help with relaxation and anxiety... that equals better sexual life. Have a good day

                              Focus on fully restoring your EQ and getting to a good level of conditioning first. This will help to prepare you for maximum gains when you begin your full routine.

                              While there is a point of diminishing returns, one should expect to continue gaining for as long as they're properly challenging themselves.
