  • About to finish JP90 and got questions for BM and kegel

    Hello fellow PS entusiasts.
I am a male 26 years of age which is aswell looking to increase size and girth. My poor dagger measures 5" BPEL and 4" in girth.

I have been following this forum for a long time without being a member but now its the time to become one you guys and I created this account.

My questions is: As I am comming towards the end of my JP90 routine i wanted to continue using just Pump (BM) and jelqing like many others. BUT I am afraid to do stretches and kegels due to i really dont wanna mess with my pelvic floor. At all. I am therefor asking if it is possible and effective to do just pumping and jelqs? Im not looking for EQ since its already great i am simply just looking for 1 or 2 inches in length and 1, maybe 2 in girth.
Thanks. English is aswell not my first language so i am hoping this made sense as I wanted to. Best regards a 6 feet 4, 230 pound guy with the most ridiculous equipment.

Hey Danielbk! First of all, welcome to the Gym!

I really think if you want those length gains you should keep stretches in your routine. There's no need to kegel while doing it.

It's actually now recommended you DO NOT KEGEL while holding your directional stretches, if you read the JP90 Routine Thread, they added some edits to address this. So you only have to hold the stretches for about 30 seconds per direction, no kegels needed. Lots of members do their kegel exercises before or after their PE workout, it's totally fine! You are right that holding a stretch while doing kegels can cause pelvic floor problems, so just do your kegels some other time during the day, but not during your PE!

I've read of many members having success supplementing their routines with a Bathmate pump. I don't think you should rely on your Bathmate solely on its own, but as a way to enhance your PE routine. On a side note I'm just basing my opinion on what I've read from this forum and others who've had success and haven't had success with BM. I personally haven't used a pump yet.

Hope this helps! I don't know if you've read through this Success Thread yet but this guy fat_tony89 had some really great success with his JP90/Bathmate routine. You should check out his Success Story and read through it to maybe give you an idea or guideline.

StartNow, thank you very much for taking your time to help me in my process i appreciate it a lot! So, you said i could do my kegels during the day when im not training my PE routine but are they nesseccary at all? Am I creating some kind of "un-balance" to my pelvic area if i skip kegels completely?

I have never been a fan of kegels for anyone unless they have a need to improve their pelvic floor strength. I dont believe most healthy men need to do them. Many may disagree but I have gained quite well without them

In fact, for some they seem to cause problems if done too much or incorrectly.

A routine of pumping, jelquing and stretching can produce very good gains. It gave me my first 1/2 of an inch. Probably could have been more but hanging intrigued me so I ended up going that route.

            Happy to help!

Yes you may do your kegels some other time during the day or even on your off days.

But I agree with BigO actually! I've been thinking about this a lot while I continue to learn about the Pelvic Floor (PF) and Kegels and Reverse Kegels. I actually think a lot of men, especially like me, who experience some spectrum of Premature Ejaculation have a Tight Pelvic Floor because they are constantly unconsciously Kegeling and flexing the Pelvic Floor Muscles. For me, I have become more self aware that when I'm in a rush, really focused on something, or experience some level of anxiety I will catch myself holding a light-medium Kegel the whole time and have to actively release it. Some guys can experience constant Kegeling from working out/exercising in general, they just ended up building the habit of flexing their Pelvic Floor Muscles as they lift weights or exercise.

I also realized I've built up the habit of Hard Kegeling (when you flex your PF as hard as you can) when masturbating, especially when I'm watching porn and suddenly get turned on by a certain scene/angle lol. I start Kegeling Hard and stroking faster and it feels great because I've engorged my penis to as big and hard as it can be. But I've learned that this not only speeds up my Arousal too fast and gets me to the PONR and ejaculation way faster when I do that, which is probably an aspect of why I experience Premature Ejaculation. And Hard Kegeling while masturbating can also eventually desensitize you and you'll only feel pleasure when you kegel and stroke. Shoutout to Jay1983 for pointing that out to me!

Long story short, I think a lot of men who either have a Normal to Tight PF probably don't have a need to do any Kegels. I for one most likely have a Tight PF so kegels are the last thing I want to do. I think if you are going to start Kegel exercises, you should balance them with Reverse Kegels as well. I'm personally looking to start off with Reverse Kegels soon and then slowly incorporate Kegels once I have a better balanced PF.

Take my unqualified opinion with a grain of salt though since I have no experience incorporating Kegel exercises in my routine yet because of my Tight PF and Pre-E issues. So far I'm 2 months in following a slightly modified JP90 routine without Kegels and V-Jelqs and have experienced some small gains nonetheless.

So I'd say just do some more research and based on that information do what's best for your situation. Do you experience Premature Ejaculation? Do you have a Tight PF? Do you experience Involuntary Kegels? Have you noticed any of the scenarios of kegeling unconsciously that I mentioned above? If not maybe you have a healthy and balanced Pelvic Floor. Use the search bar and use search terms like "Pelvic Floor", and "Reverse Kegels", and "Kegels", etc... You'll find a goldmine of information from people who are a lot more knowledgeable and experienced on this area.

Sorry for the long winded post! But I hope this somehow helps lol!

Thanks a lot for your feedback! I was pretty excited and thought about adding hangers and extenders to my upcomming routine until i saw this post... All respect to the guy and I hope that he is going to recover.
