Pubic hair irritation

Issue: When I do the jelqing part the base of my penis becomes irritated due to the pubic hair rubbing on my skin.
I've shaved it off before, but it then there is razor burn type feeling and that is worse!
Any suggestions to relieve my pain?

I actually use just regular hand soap in the shower to shave. Sudz it up and shave those bitches off. Then I suggest LOTS of lotion. Rub it in completely. The skin on your dick is just like skin anywhere else. It has to stay moisturized.

I don't shave, if you have trimmers then use those and that will keep the area clear for a few days and won't require moisturizing (at least for me it doesn't.)
