  • Does Anyone Jelq with OK Grip being reversed?

    Hey Guys

I was wondering if anyone here jelq with the ok grip but reverse, meaning your thumb and pointer finger are touching your shaft. I did it today for a little bit when I was jelqin and it eliminated the nut sack sliding up and I was able to jelq all the way from my pubic bone. My question is is reverse ok grip as effective as normal ok grip for jelqin?

    Thanks in advance

I've always done it that way because, as you said, you can jelq all the way from the pubic bone and it stops the nutsack from getting dragged along for the ride. I've seen other PE'ers mention using an overhand rather than underhand grip. Some people even alternate their grip. I don't think I've read anything to suggest that one grip is generally more effective than the other. Whatever works best for you.

I'm confused because based on what I know that is the normal way to do it. I must be way off.

I use the overhand grip as a way to get a softer more caring stroke. It feels much better than the regular underhand grip and it's kind of like patting myself on teh shoulder after a good workout. It feels real nice and it really helps the flaccid hang.

Yep, that's the grip I've always used.
            Starting: 4/1/10 - bpel 6.00 x 5.00 meg
            Current: 4/1/12 - bpel 7.30 x 5.20 meg, bpfsl 8.10
            Final Goal - bpel 7.75 x 5.75 meg

Interesting thread - I guess its truly a matter of preference. Whichever seems to be better for you...

While I do use a regular OK grip I can see the benefits of jelqing with the reverse grip.

I was taught to do both always... overhand OK grip and underhand OK grip-- and to try and use equal pressure and technique with both hands, and equal numbers of jelqs with both hands. I learned that a few years ago, so I can't even remember who told me that, but it seems logical to me.

Likewise I use both, alternating at will between them. In the future, when using the overhand grip I hope to look like a Pole-vaulter about to attempt a Vault.

You probably look like a pole vaulter already with your 8" wang!

Personally, I use overhand because I've got the impression that it's more efficient and you can start your jelq closer to your body that underhand
