  • Risks of stretching only?

    What kinds of risks are there with a stretching only routine? Ive been reading around and it seems to me most of the injuries come from jelqing.

    Also if one was to do a stretching/edging/kegel routine only would the added length gained possibly compromise some girth? Ty in advance.

    I forgot who on the forum said this, but I remember one saying stretching only and not jelqing can lead to a lower EQ.

      Yeah, lower EQ was all I could really think of.
      It's esentially a length only routine, but nobody can predict gains in PE and guys training for length only have seen girth gains and vice versa. So maybe a risk is you may gain girth? Not too bad a thing though probably.

      Why not jelq though? Oh I also see you're a newbie, the main part of the conditioning process is the jelq. Pretty essential in my opinion.

        Ive done some jelqing already. I did a 5 week beginner routine I found on LPSG. Warmup, Jelq - starting with 60 worked to 140, and the oriental massage stretching. I took a 3 week break and now was gonna be doing PESG routine, but ive been reading around and Im not sure if I wanna jelq anymore. It seems almost all permanent injuries come from jelqing, and I dont think I wanna risk that.

          Let me guess, usually erect jelqing? Have you felt you've done harm to your penis while you've been jelqing?
          Jelqing is known to cause injuries but it's alway from overzealous guys.

          If you're following PESG's routine with the light grip etc I see no problems but obviously it's your penis and your choice and I commend you highly on your caution.

            I havent had any injuries, with the exception of some very minor loss of sensation in the shaft for 1-2 days (which I think may have been caused by using conditioner as lube for a few workouts). I always jelq at < 70% erect, warmup for 10min+. Only thing so far is some minor discolorations. Im still not sure what constitutes discolorations and what diff types/levels of discolorations there are. I noticed today that a few hours after doing PESG routine my glans had some darker areas. I have read the stories of permanent damage tho and Im really starting to question if I wanna risk it. My sex life is good right now im around 5.5 nbpel and 5" EG, of course id like to add some length and/or girth but reading some of the stories has freaked me out, so I was thinking about just doing stretches, kegels and edging. Thanks for any input.

              If you warm up really well, and don't stretch or jelq past your limits, you'll do fine and won't get hurt. Read Kingpole's thread on how to safely jelq. https://www.pegym.com/forums/beginne...tretching.html

                I think as long as you keep edging you'll be fine. Just make sure you're sessions are a bit longer than normal and you ejaculate less frequently.
